Common Entrance Test for DNS course – 2014 :
Indian Maritime University (IMU) announces admission to the following courses at SCI Mumbai
DIPLOMA IN NAUTICAL SCIENCE (DNS) LEADING TO BSC. (NAUTICAL SCIENCE) – ONE YEAR COURSE.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have studied from a recognized Board or University, up to 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those who have appeared for final examination and awaiting results can also apply. Selection Procedure:
Selection to the course would be based on the performance by candidates at IMU CET December 2013 examinations scheduled to be held at different centers at Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Vishakapatinam, Kandla, Lucknow and Cochin on 29-12-2013 (Twenty ninth December 2013 (Sunday) between 1000 hrs AM to 1300 hrs PM.)
How to Apply:
The information brochure, application forms and bank challan (State Bank of India/Axis Bank/Indian Bank) can be downloaded from the IMU website: imu.edu.in. The payments for CET exams should be in favor of INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI. The payments through bank challan can be made at any branch of the bank located anywhere in India. After payment in the bank, a Journal Number should be obtained from the bank.
Application Fee :
For SC/ST Candidates Rs. 700/-
For other Candidates Rs. 1000/-
The application forms duly filled in all respects should be sent to “Controller of Examinations, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai – 600119” in an envelope superscribing over the envelope “Application for IMU-CET December 2013 exams for DNS Leading to B.Sc. Nautical Science”.
Important dates:
1) Last date for receiving applications : 23/12/2013.
2) Date of CET Exam 29/12/2013.
3) Hall Ticket/Admit Cards can be downloaded from IMU website two days before the date of commencement of CET exams.

I have 10+2 cleared in 2011 and my pcm percentage is 57 and I have cleared CET for IMU. My rank was 2560 but I could not take admission. Now am I eligible?
