Sub: Invitation to participate in the All India Inter NIT Tournaments – Reg.

We are happy to inform you that Our Institute will be organizing the All India Inter NIT Tournaments in the following sports events for the year 2013-14 from 3-5 January 2014, to promote friendship, fair play and create the spirit of competition among the students of all NITs.
1. Ball Badminton … Men and Women
2. Throw Ball … Women
3. Volleyball … Men and Women

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
On behalf of NIT, Warangal, I extend a hearty welcome to Tournament (Men & Women) teams participating in the All India Inter NIT Sports Tournament to be held at NIT, Warangal – 506004, (A.P.) from 3rd to 5th January 2013.

The details of the tournament are as follows:
1. Venue of the Tournament: NIT, Warangal – 506 004, Andhra Pradesh.

2. Technical: All the matches will be conducted as per the rules of the respective federations. The Decision of the organizing committee will be final in case of any matter pertaining to the tournament.

3. All the participating teams are requested to communicate their arrival date and time to the organizing secretary well in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made to receive them at the Railway station (Kazipet – 2 k.m. or Warangal 11 km).

4. In case, any team arrives at the Railway Station without intimating their arrival time and date, they are requested to directly report at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, NIT, Warangal.

5. Unfurnished accommodation will be provided to all the players at NIT campus. The teams are requested to bring their own bedding, locks etc. 6. A sum of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) has to be deposited as caution deposit, which will be refunded at the time of departure of the team after getting necessary clearance certificate.

7. The managers of the teams are requested to handover the following documents to the organizing secretary one day prior to the teams participation in the match.
a. Two copies of eligibility proforma of players duly filled in and signed by the competent authority.
b. Latest identity cards of the players duly signed by the players and attested by the competent authority of the NIT concerned. The team manager has to deposit the identity cards before the commencement of the match.

8. During the month of January, the climate in Warangal will be very pleasant, though it will be cold during the nights.

9. The participating teams must report at least half an hour before commencement of their match.

10. A meeting of all the managers/coaches/officials will be held on 2nd January 2013 at 5.00 p.m. at the Department of Physical Education, NIT, Warangal.

11. The teams are required to participate in the inaugural function on 3rd January 2013 at 9.00a.m. with their NIT Flags.

12. Team managers will be held responsible for the discipline of their respective teams/players and in case of damages, if any, to property/infrastructure etc. of NIT Warangal, appropriate amount will be recovered from the concerned teams/managers.

13. Matches will be played on clay courts at our campus.

14. Kindly confirm participation/withdraws, if any, on or before 15-12-2013 to the Organizing Secretary.
