Entry Standards :
This course is principally intended for candidates for certification as Master or Chief mate on seagoing ships. Those wishing to enter this course should be the holders of certificates satisfying the requirments of regulation II/1 or II/3 of the STCW convention as officer in charge of a navigational watch (2nd mates(FG) having ROC / ARPA Certifications).

Extra Master, Master Mariners and Radio Officers.
Teaching Facilities & Equipments : Well – illuminated classrooms are equipped with the essential teaching aids including white-boards, over-head projectors, TV and VCD Player.
Evalution / Assessment : To ensure that the candidates have achieved the desired level of skill and knowledge, continuous evaluation is carried out through objective assessment and practicals.
Course Certificate : On successful completion of the course and assessments, a document may be issued certifying that the holder has successfully completed a course of training which meets or exceeds the level of knowledge and competence specified in Table A-II/2 of STCW 1995.
Documents Required : 2 passport size photographs, Passport, CDC, Certificate of Competency, ROC / ARPA Certificate.
GMDSS (Approved By Director General of Shipping) :
Duration of the Course : 10 Days
Courses Intake : 12
Entry Standards : 10+2 or, Valid COC issued by DGS. India or, COP issued by M.O.C.
