Steps For Online Complaint Redressal Services :
1. You need to visit official website and then click on “SUPPORT” link .It will redirect you to the home page of “Online Complaint Redressal System” where you can register your complaint.
2. Click on “Open New Complaint” button and register your complaint while providing necessary details along with your complaint description. After submitting the ‘Submit Complaint’ button, you will get an e-mail having the complaint Number, using which you can trace complaint status.A sms alert will also be sent to your mobile.
3. Using e-mail and complaint No., you can login into the system after clicking “check status” button and trace your complaint status. If the complaint is successfully redressed by the system then it’s status will come under ‘closed’ category otherwise ‘open’. If it is closed then you will get a email which is actually an intimation that redressal of the complaint has already been successfully done.
4. You may even put some additional message in open complaint. If the complaint status is ‘closed’ and you are still not satisfied with the solution then you may intimate it. This type of intimation option is present in the view section of complaint status.
5. You may file new complaint also using the menu “New Complaint“ and repeat the steps from 2 to 4
6. You may now log out of the system.

** You must provide mobile number in the case if you choose category/subject as e_Registration and also to get sms alerts.
** You must include your acknowledgement number in the case if you choose category/subject as e_Registration.
** You must provide your TIN NO. in the case if you choose category/subject as e_Returns or e_Payments
** Fields marked as * are mandatory
In Detail :
** You will lodge a new complaint through clicking a button named “OPEN NEW COMPLAINT” appearing on the left-bottom corner of the page. You can also check the status of already lodged complaints by entering valid e-mail id and complaint number in the respective text boxes under the tag “CHECK COMPLAINT STATUS” and clicking the “CHECK STATUS” button.
**When you press “OPEN NEW COMPLAINT” button on the home page, the following screen appears: You need to fill basic details like name,email,phone,mobile,address, tin(if available),acknowledgement no (if available),Department under which complaint need to register, etc.
** Select appropriate category under which you are facing problem and then type your problem in Message box.
** After Submitting your problem you can also set priority like low, normal & high depending upon type and urgency of your problem
** After setting priority you may also upload documents regarding your problem. Documents must be of type doc,docx ,pdf only.
** After Submitting all details you need to fill the captcha text as seen on the image. Actually this option is due to security reason only.
** After pressing submit button if everything goes right then you will get “Thank you” message like below. Now you will get a email with a complaint No.# so that you can trace your complaint status.
** However if complaint form is not submitted successfully then possible cause of errors are either invalid entry or not filling of mandatory field by you
** The detailed view of email received from Department of Commercial Taxes ,support desk is as given below. Now you may use direct link from your mail to check your complaint status or you may type the complaint No. received in mail and username as your email in the’ Check Complaint Status’ section in the home page. You may alsouse ‘Complaint Status menu’ in the home page to do the same.
** You can check your complaint status after typing your “email id” and “complaint number” in the “Check Complaint Status” section.
** After putting complaint No. and email you will get screen as below, where you will see list of your all complaints along with their detail. You can see detailed view of each complaint using link on complaint No. You can also see the list of complaint based on their status using ‘view open‘ and ‘view closed’ menu.
** The detailed view of each complaint is as below. Here you can see your uploaded document if any. You can see all the details Submitted by you while lodging the complaint.
** When your problem gets solved then complaint gets ‘close’ status and simultaneously a mail comes in your inbox intimating you that the problem has been completely resolved. And the same message is posted in the section named as ‘complaint thread’.
** Even without logging out from the system you can submit new complaint . You need to press “My Complaint” Menu. You will get the screen as below where many of items are pre –filled. You need to select complaint category & write the new complaint and repeat the process only.
** After completing your work, you can log out from the system using ‘log out’ menu.
Complaint Status:
You can check your complaint status after typing your “email id” and “complaint number” in the “Check Complaint Status” section.
