The Central University of Tamil Nadu, an Institution established by an Act of Parliament, invites applications for the following Non-Teaching posts on Regular / deputation basis

(Group – A) :
1. Name of the post : Controller of Examination
No. of post : (1 UR)
Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 (Grade Pay: Rs.10,000/-)
Essential:-
i) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
ii) The candidate must have Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.
iii) 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration (OR) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the Scale of Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- with Grade pay Rs.7,600/- or holding analogous post.

2.Name of the post : Librarian

Essential:-
i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science /documentation with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.
ii) 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years of experience as a college librarian.
iii) Consolidated API Score points as per the UGC regulation 2010
iv) Evidence of Innovative Library service and organization of published work.

3. Name of the post : Assistant Registrar

Essential:
i) Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale.

6. Name of the post : Public Relation Officer

Essential:
(i) Master’s degree in Public relations / Mass Communications and Journalism with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale OR Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in UGC 7 point scale and a Degree / Diploma in Public relations / Journalism / Media relations or equivalent.
(ii) Five years relevant experience in the editorial department / Centre of any established Newspaper, National News Agency or Television or Film Media / Educational institution / Govt. dept. / PSU.
(iii) Knowledge of computer applications.
(iv) Knowledge of Tamil & Hindi.

7.Name of the post : Section Officer

Essential:
(i) Graduate Degree in any discipline.
(ii) Five Years’ Experience as Upper Division Clerk in the Scale of Rs.5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade pay Rs.2,400/-. / Three years as Assistant in the Scale of Rs.9,300 – 34,800/- with Grade pay Rs.4,200/- in University System / Central Educational Institution / Government Department / Research Institution / National Institutions under Government of India or in a university recognized by the University Grants Commission.

8. Name of the post : Private Secretary

Essential:
(i) Graduate Degree in any discipline
