Aakash – Young Talent Search Exam (Aakash-YTSE) 2013 :
In sync with its vision to become a premier educational institute that works towards the overall advancement of the society by enabling the brightest young minds of the country to achieve what they desire to and what they deserve to, Aakash is conducting Aakash – Young Talent Search Exam (Aakash-YTSE) 2013. This examination aims to enable the most deserving young students to achieve get to their goal of becoming a top professional by providing them free coaching. Aakash-YTSE 2013 will select 200 students each from class VII, VIII & IX. This exam, will provide once in a lifetime opportunity. These students will get free coaching* from Aakash. The examination will be held at 41 centres spread across the nation on 15th December, 2013.

Aakash YTSE 2013 Details:
Eligibility for Aakash—YTSE-2013: Class VII, VIII & IX studying students
Examination Fee: 200/- (including service tax)

Last date of the submission of form: 9th December, 2013 (Monday)
Last date of submission of form by hand / online: 12th December, 2013 (Thursday)

Stage 1 : Fill in your details above
Stage 2 : Download your YTSE-form from the link sent to your e-mail address
Stage 3 : Print the form and fill in your details
Stage 4 : Send the form with the exam fee Demand Draft of Rs. 200 to the address mentioned in the e-mail

Date of Exam: 15th December, 2013 (Sunday)
Timing: 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
Date of result declaration: 24th December, 2013 (Tuesday)

The result shall be displayed on our website: aakash.ac.in, mentioning the Names & Roll No. of students in the merit list. However, if the number of students in the respective merit list of each class (securing 60% marks or more) is less than 200 each in classes VII, VIII & IX, in such a situation, the list will be taken out of only those students, who fulfill the eligibility criteria of 60% marks or above only for getting scholarships.

In addition to the fee scholarship for Aakash program, the top 10 ranking students will also get cash rewards. Following are the rank-wise cash reward details for each class category (i.e. for VII, VIII & IX studying Students):

Note: Separate merit list will be prepared for students of class VII, VIII & IX.

The cash award shall be given on 8th May, 2014. In order to avail the cash award, a student must join the respective classroom program (for class VIII / IX / X in 2014 itself) at any centre of Aakash where Foundation Courses are conducted.

Student should not have enrolled for the classroom course in any other coaching institute. If found, the scholarship would be withdrawn, since it will ultimately lead to the wastage of time as well as create confusion to the student. If a student wishes to continue to avail scholarship in the next class, he/she has to maintain the follwing standards:
Course Continuation Scheme:
1 On achieving the Aakash-YTSE scholarship in Category-A, if a student wants to continue his/her
Category-A scholarship in the next year then he/she must maintain:
Average 85% Marks or A1 / A2 Grade (in Science & Maths) in semester exams at school
Average 85% Marks in Aakash classroom tests
Average 85% Attendance in the Aakash classes

2 On achieving the Aakash-YTSE scholarship in Category-B, if a student wants to continue his/her
Category-B scholarship in the next year then he/she must maintain:
Average 80% Marks or B1 / B2 Grade (in Science & Maths) in final semester exams at school
Average 80% Marks in Aakash classroom tests
Average 85% Attendance in the Aakash classes

3. On achieving the Aakash-YTSE scholarship in Category-C, if a student wants to continue his/her
Category-C scholarship in the next year then he/she must maintain:
Average 75% Marks or C1 Grade (in Science & Maths) in final semester exams at school
Average 75% Marks in Aakash classroom tests
Average 85% Attendance in the Aakash classes

Note: Please note that the decision of Managing Director will be final in all cases and discretion related to admission of students through Aakash-YTSE vests with him only.

SCHOLARSHIP : (Fee concession)
Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver. If at any point of time, the government decides to charge Service Tax on the scholarship/concession amount/fee waiver, then the service tax shall be borne by the students.

Note: Selected candidates will be provided classroom coaching as per the choice of their centre (at existing Aakash centres only where Foundation courses are held) but if a student wants to change the study centre, the written permission for the same has to be taken from the Managing Director.

Instructions for Students:
1. Kindly fill the enclosed registration form and send along with your class VI/VII/VIII marksheet, 4 passport size photographs and demand draft of ` 200/- in favour of ‘Aakash Institute’.
2. The student can download his/her Admit Card for appearing Aakash-YTSE 2013 mentioning his/her Roll No. and Venue from our website : aakash.ac.in
3. The tests would be conducted on OMR (Optical Mark Reader) sheet, which shall be provided to you at the Test Centre.
