Applications (App.) are invited for the post mentioned below in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/ Bank) from Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (who came over to India before 1st January, 1962) and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favour Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India.

Experience (as on 01.11.2013):
(i) The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force OR
(ii) The candidate should be of the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum five years service in Paramilitary Forces such as Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Assam Rifles, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Defence Security Corps, National Security Guard, Railway Protection Force, Rashtriya Rifles, Special Protection Force, Commando Battalion for Resolute Action, Special Frontier Force and Home Guards.

Application Fee : `100/- (Rupees one hundred only). No fee is payable by SC/ST/RBI Staff candidates

How to Apply :
1. Candidates have to apply only ON-LINE through the Bank’s website.

2. Detailed instructions for applying On-line are available on the website. Candidates must submit the system generated printout (hard copy) of the On-Line application (with a valid registration number) to the Board’s office along with 6 copies of Bio-data Form (which is separately available on the website) and one Photocopy each of the following certificates/ documents;
i. Matriculation or SSC Examination certificate in support of age.

ii. Degree certificate and Mark sheets in support of educational qualifications.

iii. In case of Officers from Defence, the certificate indicating full details of your service as Commissioned Officer in Defence Force (i.e. Army/Navy/Air Force).

iv. In case of personnel from Paramilitary Services, the certificate indicating full details of your service including as Assistant Commandant or its equivalent rank. In case the rank is other than Assistant Commandant, submit an additional certificate from employer duly indicating that the rank is equivalent to Assistant Commandant.

v. In case retired from the service, submit the Discharge Certificate/Service Record Book /Record of Service Book duly indicating the date of joining with rank/designation, date of relieving with rank/designation and reason for relieving etc. issued by the Employer/Competent authority.

vi. In case candidate belongs to SC/ST/OBC category, copy of the Latest Caste Certificate from the competent authority, in the format given on website.

3. Candidates need to send the above documents to the Reserve Bank of India Services Board’s Office (RBISB) by ordinary post at the address given below;

Engagement of Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration at RBI, Kanpur

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for preparing a panel to fill up 2 (two) posts (one unreserved and one reserved for Other Backward Classes) of Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for dispensaries of the Reserve Bank of India at its Officers/Staff Quarters located at Kidwai Nagar and Tilak Nagar, so as to reach the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Kanpur – 208001 on or before Nov 01, 2013.

Applicant should possess MBBS degree of any recognized university in the allopathic system of medicine.

The Applicant should have a minimum of 02 (two) years experience.

The applicants having their own private dispensary or place of residence (registered) within a radius of 3 to 5 Km from the dispensaries at respective Staff Quarters will be given preference.

The remuneration of the Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive.

The Contract for engagement will be initially for a period of three years subject to review every year, which can be extended on such terms and conditions which are mutually agreeable to both the parties.

The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and location of dispensary at its discretion in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements.

Interested and eligible candidates may please make an Application in the prescribed Format as at Annex I. The application should be sent in a cover superscribed ‘Application for the post of Medical Consultant on contract basis (with fixed hourly remuneration).’

Selection Procedure :
The Reserve Bank of India Kanpur will be conducting an interview for selection of panel to engage 2 (two) (one unreserved and one reserved for Other Backward Classes) Medical Consultant (MC).

Selection will be made through interview of eligible candidates to be called for interview. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who are not been called for the interview.

The Board of Interview will have at least one qualified medical professional.

The shortlisted applicant/s after Interview will be subjected to medical tests as per prescribed norms before engagement of the services of Medical Consultant (MC).

The selected applicant has to sign an agreement for Contract with the Bank before engagement of the services of Medical Consultant (on contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration.
