Age: Below 50 years as on 1st July 2013.
Consolidated amount : Rs.15000/- (One Thousand five hundred only) will be paid per month.

Educational Qualification:
1. M.P.Ed or its equivalent degree with UGC/NET eligibility test for Lectureship or with Ph.D in Physical Education.
2. The candidate must posses a minimum of 55% or its equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with grades O,A,B, C, D,E & F in M.P.Ed or its equivalent degree. A relaxation of 5 % may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks in M.P.Ed or its equivalent degree for the SC/ST candidates.
3. Proficiency in teaching and coaching the track and field events.
4. Preference will be given for the candidate represented for university athletic team in the inter university competitions.

Cost of Application: Rupees Five Hundred (Rs.500) to be Paid by Demand Draft in favour of The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education Sports University. Payable at Chennai.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The post of teaching assistant is purely temporary.
2. No payment for summer vacation.
3. The candidate selected for the Teaching Assistant post should work under the supervision of the Registrar of Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University
4. The candidate selected for the Teaching Assistant post for Department of physical education should work as per the work allotted by the Head, Department of Physical Education, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University
5. The Candidate selected for the Teaching Assistant post for Department of physical Education should work during the working days and working hours of the Department of physical education and the University.
