I) Multi-centric hospital-based surveillance of acute encephalitis syndrome for viral etiology among children in selected districts of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. :

Essential Qualifications : MBBS and MD or Ph.D in Life Sciences.
a. Proven experience in the field of development of molecular and serological diagnostic assays and their quality control
b. Working experience on
Desirable Qualifications :
i. Handling BSL-2 nand higher level human pathogens
ii. Experience in training and supervision of laboratory staff
iii. Experience in laboratory data compilation and analysis
iv. Any other laboratory, clinical and filed visits / tasks assigned
Age Limit: Below 40 years.

Essential Qualifications :
1. Three years Graduate degree in life sciences
2. One year DMLT or one year experience.
Desirable Qualifications :
i. Diagnosis of infectious pathogens using molecular / serological and other classical methods
ii. Experience in working with BSL-2 level pathogens and their propagation in animal / tissue culture systems
iii. Experience in clinical specimen handling including collection, storage, transport and processing along with data entry
iv. Any other laboratory and clinical or field activities assigned
