1.Designer

Job Title: Designer, Extra Low Voltage Systems (ELV)

Main Duties :
** Preparation of all ELV (FMCS, SECURITY, FIRE ALARM, LSS, Structured cabling and other ELV system Architecture, layouts and installation drawings
** Design of Extra-Low Voltage system Drawings like System Architecture, Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&IDs) and layouts;
** Design of Instrument location plans, Control room layout, Rack elevation, Rack layouts, cable support system routings under the guidance of the Instrumentation and Control Engineer;
** Prepare instrument schedule and lists such as Document index, Instrument Index, Control system Input /Output List, Cable schedule, Interconnection wiring drawings, Termination drawings, Junction box schedule, Instrument Hook-up drawings;
** Assist the Instrumentation and Control Engineer for Material Take off;
** Verify and collect inputs from site for finalizing the above drawings.

Other Duties :
** Coordinate with other discipline CAD designers for space management of Instrument panels and Extra-Low Voltage equipment;
** Co-ordination with Instrument Supervisors and Engineers for verifying field cable, hook-up details, etc. for As built drawing generation;
** Generation and maintaining the Instrument Drawing list for the project;
** Compilation of Operation and Maintenance of Dossier for Projects;
** Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

2.Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Engineer, Electrical

Main Duties :
** Progressing all elements of design in-line with the Design Checklist;
** Prepare electrical tender packages including specification and drawings;
** Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and to remain technically competent;
** Tendering and estimating of electrical works for projects prior to award;
** Compilation and Review of Operation and Maintenance Dossier for Projects;
** Ensuring the System Supervisor is provided with the current shop and space management drawings, specifications, approved technical submittals and all approved changes in scope;
** Ensuring the System Supervisor is fully briefed on the awarded scope of work, the tender technical documents and all contractual revisions to tender documentation;
** Evaluating technical submittals for specification and client requirement compliance;
** Approving Test Packs at each step of construction through to completion;
** Forwarding testing and commission passing criteria to the System Supervisor.

Other Duties :
** Provide electrical engineering design and construction support to projects and the department;
** Design of High Voltage switchgear and Low Voltage switchboards, transformer, generators, High Voltage and Low Voltage Cable systems, lighting and small power systems, Industrial Facilities and Commercial Buildings, with the support of a senior engineer if necessary;
** Carry out design calculation under the guidance of a senior engineer deemed necessary for executing the project, which includes, short circuit calculation, load flow, cable sizing, lighting calculation;
** Execute/Expedite electrical packages during construction phase of a project and taking responsibility for the assigned electrical packages;
** Co-ordination and scheduling activities for Electrical supervisors on a project to ensure timely delivery at project milestone dates;
** Interfacing with other trades during design phase and incorporate their requirements into electrical design;
** Technical Evaluation of vendor submissions including approval of shop drawings;
** Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

3.Engineer

Job Title: Engineer, Extra Low Voltage System (ELV)

Main Duties :
** Design of control systems, instrumentation, cabling and cable support systems for Process equipment, Industrial Facilities and Commercial Buildings, with the support of a senior engineer if necessary;
** Design of Life Safety System comprising of Public Address Systems, Access control, Closed Circuit Television, Gas Detection and Fire Alarm systems with the support of a senior engineer if necessary;
** Design of Information Technology cabling system with the support of a senior engineer if necessary;
** Develop P&IDs, Instruments and IO list, Sequence of Operations, Logic Diagrams, Cause and effect matrices with the support of a senior engineer if necessary;
** Develop / Execute/Expedite ELV packages during design, procurement, construction phase of a project and taking responsibility for the assigned packages;
** Co-ordination and scheduling activities for the ELV supervisors on a project to ensure timely delivery at project milestone dates;
** Interfacing with other trades during design phase and incorporate their requirements into the ELV systems design;
** Technical Evaluation of vendor submissions including approval of shop drawings;
** Preparing the procedure for testing and commissioning of individual system and manage subcontractor during commissioning of the Extra Low Voltage systems;
** Guiding Designer / Draftsman for preparing cable routing plan, hook-up drawings, wiring drawings, cable schedule, Junction Box schedule, Instrument Air manifold schedule, Block diagrams, P&IDs, Control System Schematic.

Other Duties :
** Prepare Extra Low Voltage System tender packages including specification and drawings;
** Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with latest country codes, current practices and engineering trends within the industry;
** Tendering and estimating of Extra Low Voltage system works for projects prior to award;
** Prepare Technical Bid evaluations and recommendations during project execution;
** Compilation and Review of Operation and Maintenance Dossier for Projects;
** Liaise with Clients, Consultants, equipment vendors and suppliers where required to ensure compatibility of design interfaces during construction activity;
** Adherence to the Corporate and Project Quality Management System;
** Ad hoc duties as determined by management.
