Procedure for booking e-tickets :
On-line Booking (Internet Booking) will enable the passenger to book/cancel the seats and conduct other related transactions even from remote places where MSRTC counters or franchisees are not available.

The procedure and guidelines for Internet booking (called, On-line booking) are detailed as below
:
E-ticket can be booked by registered user through the Internet. Registered User will be given username and password after filling an E-form on the Internet by giving his personal details. In addition to this, Guest Registration Facility for urgent ticket booking is provided. This facility can be availed for one time only, for subsequent transaction User Registration is a must.Tickets can be booked during reservation timings prescribed by MSRTC.

Payments for tickets booked will have to be made through Credit Card /Debit Card /Cash Card/ Internet Banking.
Passenger intending to book the ticket will have to login to MSRTC website and will proceed through the link provided for On Line Booking. The seat will be allocated to the passenger as per service type selected by him.

Passenger or any Person from a group intending to travel will have to produce the print out E-ticket along with original Photo Identity at the Starting point of journey. Passenger may produce from any one of the original Photo Identity i.e. Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card, PAN Card.The On-duty Conductor or person authorized by MSRTC will verify the Identity Card of the passenger with E-Ticket print out & Reservation Chart.

If the passenger fails to produce the print out of E-ticket and the specified Identity Proof in original during the journey, the ticket will be treated as INVALID and the passenger will be treated as “Traveling without Ticket”. Photocopy of Identity proof is not allowed.Users are advised to print e-ticket immediately after booking so as to minimize inconvenience during instances of withdrawal of e-booking due to high traffic on website.

E – Ticket facility will not be allowed to passengers availing any concession in bus fare, which is reimbursable / refundable from Government. So also, any Pass-holder like Employees of MSRTC, Students, Monthly & Quarterly Pass-holders.Ticket can be cancelled within a permissible time mentioned herein below. However, for cancellation of ticket User have to Log In on MSRTC Website and required to fill ticket information on Screen provided for cancellation of ticket. Guest User cannot cancel the ticket without registering his User Id and Password with MSRTC Website.

E-Ticketing Fare ,Reservation & Other Charges :
Fare for journey will be charged as per prevailing rates & rules.
Advance reservation charges of Rs. 5/- per seat per passenger for Ordinary bus, Rs.7/- for Semi – luxury and Rs.10/- for A/c and Deluxe bus, subject to revision, if any.

In addition to above, non-refundable Convenience charges @ 1.85% + Government Service Tax @ 10.30% on FARE PLUS RESERVATION Charges will be levied for each booking / cancellation.
The passenger have to pay additional fare in cash in case of fare revision, change in service type, change in route. etc. before start of journey.

Cancellation Rules & Refund Procedure for E-Tickets :
Cancellation slabs (% of refund) are applicable at the time of cancellation and departure time of the service at the originating place. Service originating place, time of departure and destination place will be notified on E-ticket.Cancellation charges are calculated on the Journey fare applicable for cancellation of tickets.

Reservation & E-ticketing Convenience charges are non-refundable in any case.Partial cancellation of seats are not allowed in respect of e-ticket. The cancellation of E-tickets will be allowed two calendar days before the journey date. i.e. if journey day is 3rd Oct. then the ticket cancellation will be allowed up to 1st Oct. during Reservation timing hours.

General Rules:
The reservation/cancellation timings will be from 00.30 to 23.30 IST for all week days , which may be extended during peak season. Seat reservation booking facility will be close before one hour on proposed journey date and schedule departure time of bus service or up to the time of printing of reservation chart, which ever is earlier.

MSRTC shall not be responsible for any damages or loss or inconvenience due to late departure / arrival of schedule time or change in route / change in service type , etc. Change in Date / Time of Journey, Name , Gender, Age etc. will not be allowed after seat reservation.

  1. मी आश्विनी वेदपाठक आज लातुर ते नाशीक तिकीट आऑनला ईन बुक करायच तर चुकुन नाशीक ते लातुर बुक झाल जे की मला कॅन्सल करुन त्याचा refund मिळावा हि नम्र विनंती

  6. I have booked 3 ticket of Night Express on dated 07/12/2015 for traveling from Dadar (East) to Bharna Naka on dated 11/12/2015 at 22.45 hrs. The ticket No. is 23218317 and total fare of Rs.871.43/- for 3 tickets.
    However, the ticket fate of Rs.871.43 deducted twice from my saving A/c.
    You are therefore humbly requested to refund me an amount of Rs.871.43/-

    1. What happens if I do not see /receive the ticket, however any Bank A/C / Credit /Debit Card is charged?
      If you are not able to see / view the ticket, Please check the same under “My Ticket” is reflecting in the same. If not, then in case of debit to your Bank A/C, the money will be refunded back to you, within 7 working Days from the date of transaction / Processing of refund request. In case of debit to your Credit / Debit Card, the money will be refunded back to your card within 14 days from the date of transaction /Process in refund request. If you don’t receive the refund in the stipulated time, the passenger are requested to follow up with their respective bank /Credit/Debit Card issuing bank.

    How can I do that reservation?

    Give me the proper website guidance.

    1. You have to register as a new user first. Then you need to login with your user id and password to proceed your reservation.

    How can I use 10% concession card for e-ticket booking. Please advice.

    1. I am also unable to do this. I searched for it like anything but didn’t find a way
