** And an unbiased, easily accessible platform to showcase it.
** Surely that talent need not be singing or dancing.

What cricket has done to the rest of the sports, singing and dancing have done to other talents. While the former hog all the limelight, the latter get neglected. Though there are national level platforms to showcase the singing or dancing abilities of kids; but there is no such platform for showcasing other talents like Drawing, Essay Writing or Solving Puzzles.

CraftedKids is here to fill that void. We believe that a child’s ability and preference should decide their choice of creative pursuit, and not the other way round.

CraftedKids.com and you :
This site is not supposed to be used directly by kids under 13 years of age. It is expected that child’s parents or well wisher would register on CraftedKids.com and then add the kid to their profile. Henceforth, child should participate in the contests under the guidance of a mature person.

A child can be added to the profile of only one user. Same child should not be added by multiple people like by father, uncle or aunts. Hence, before adding a child, please inform the child’s parents.

Management can ask for original identity and date of birth proof of the child. We also reserve the right to hold the prizes until we receive such proof when asked for.

Contests :
Drawing & Painting Contest Details :
Ever seen the super-zealous, the euphoric and the ecstatic expressions on any kiddos face when they got their hands on the bright and dazzling paints- Then, here you are with an offer to make those little ones a shining star in the small painting world of their age group. Let them paint their world on a larger canvas this time.

Rules :
** To participate in first round; you would have to upload scanned copy of 2 drawings/paintings. Only jpg, jpeg, gif and png format files can be uploaded for this round.
** This contest will NOT have any semi-finals.
** Live contest will be held in Bangalore. Lodging will be provided to out-station candidates for one day.
** To keep the contest fair; minimum participation of five hundred kids is needed in each of the three categories below ( which are based on age group). Till then, we will extend the time-lines for participation.

Essay Writing Contest Details :
Do you know of kids having the spark to enthrall people through their writing skills – If so then why not let them have their take against the other talented buds of India ! Sharpen those little writer pencils and get them set for a stress-free and fruitful competition.

Rules :
To participate in first round; you would have to upload soft copy of an essay written by child. Length of essay should not exceed 2000 words. The size of each upload cannot exceed 512.0 KB. Only txt, pdf, doc and docx format files can be uploaded for this round.
Before deciding on finalists, our judges would be calling up the child to talk to them personally for few minutes. Based on the conversation, our judges would have authority to ignore the ratings received by CrafteKids.com users.

Puzzles Contest Details :
Educate and entertain brilliant minds with this exciting contest of child-friendly but ingenious puzzles contest.

Musical Instruments Contest Details :
Showcase a child skills with a musical instrument by enrolling them in this contest.

Prizes :
First Prize : Cash prize of Rs. 20000
Second Prize : Cash prize of Rs. 10000
Third Prize : Cash prize of Rs. 5000
Runners up Prize : Certificate to all finalists

Registration for a Contest :
** Every child will be eligible to participate in only one category of any contest
** All the uploads and information (except date of births & email addresses) are made public on the website so that users can rate the uploads. Hence, information put on the website must be carefully reviewed. This is one of the reasons why children are allowed to participate only under the guidance of an adult.
** Winners of the contest registered via our partner site Gungroo will also get a surprise gift.

Participate in a Contest :
** All the cash prizes will be always be in the form of a cheque issued in the child’s name.
** Whenever there is a tie in any category; generally younger kid would be declared as a winner.
** First round of uploading images is ONLY for deciding finalists. Final winners will be decided only by the performance exhibited during live contest.
** All the uploads will firstly be approved by our team before they are available for public.
** Rating for all competitions will be enabled ONLY after file uploading round has ended.

We do not allow anyone younger than 13 years to register directly on our website. If you are less than 13 years old; please ask your parents ( or any other well wisher who is more than 13 years old ) to register here. Once done, they can add you as one of the kid to the account. Henceforth, you can participate in contests under their guidance.
