I. Project Code No. 01 (Lead BG- MoEF): Augmenting lead botanical garden at GBPIHED for ex situ conservation and knowledge dissemination on threatened and endemic plants of the Central Himalayan region.
1. Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow

Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/- +HRA as per Institute norms.
Age : 28 years
Qualifications :
i) First class Master degree in Biological/ Environmental Sciences.
ii) Preference to candidates with NET/GATE; working experience in Himalayan region
2. No. of post : Field Assistant
No. of post : 02
Emoluments : Rs. 6000/- (fixed per month)
Age : 45 years.
Qualifications :
i) Junior High school
ii) Preference to candidate with formal training of Mali / Gardening or over 10 years experience of working in well established garden/nurseries of research and development institutions
II. Project Code (02) (Kailash- ICIMOD): Kailash Sacred Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KLSCDI)
1. Name of the post : Researchers Level-I
No. of post : 04
Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/- month fixed
Age : 28 Years
Qualifications :
i) First Class Master degree in Life Science (Zoology/Botany/Forestry/ Biodiversity)/ Social/Earth Sciences/Space technology (RG/GIS) with Consistently good academic records.
ii) Conduct extensive field R&D activities;
iii) Generate, analysis and synthesis of field data/information;
iv) Report preparation and timely submission to the Field Coordinator

i) The candidate with adequate qualification may appear for Walk-In-Interview on November 29, 2013 (11:00 AM) at Kosi- Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute.
