Scholarships are awarded to the students passing out classes VII, VIII, IX, X and XI and continuing their studies in VMHSS, Surapet.

Weightage of marks for consideration :
Cycle Text : 10%
Mid Term Test : 20%
Qly & H.Y.Exam : 30%
Annual Exams : 40%
Total :100%

Minimum % marks for consideration : 95%
Attendance : Minimum 95%

Note :
No weightage for missed tests and exams
Discipline and behaviour must be V.Good and certified by the Class Teacher and the HM

Scholarship Galore :
Dr.M.S. Swaminathan Scholarship Award :
Students who get state rank in Higher secondary Examination are entitled for Free Education in Velammal Engineering College. This scholarship is worth of Rs.5 Lakhs,
Students getting a total of more than 1050 out of 1100 marks and state rank holders in the Matriculation Examination are given Free Education in classes XI and XII.

Gold Ring :
Since 1997, in memory of Dr.M.S.Giri, a “4 Grams Ring” is presented to the School Topper in the Matriculation Examination by Dr. Hanumantha Rao, Proprietor, Giri & Co.

Muthuramalingam Talent Quest :
36 – Scholarship amount of Rs. 1000/- totaling to Rs. 36,000/- are awarded to three deserving in each class from standard I to IX.
Gold Coins are given for the students who Score Centum or equal marks to State Rank level in Matriculation examinations for each subject.
Gold coin is given to the teacher, who creates centum in concerned subject.
Gold coin is awarded to the teacher, who produces State Ranks.
Gold Coin is awarded to all the teachers handling X and XII, if they produce centum result in the Public Exam.
Gold Coin is awarded to the teachers and non teaching staff who secure 100% attendance in an academic year.
Gold Coin is awarded to the teaching and non-teaching staff who have completed 5 years of service in our institution.
Rs.5,000/- is gifted to the staff who have completed 10 years of service in our institution.
Staff who have completed 5 years of service in any of the Trust schools will be eligible for their wards’ free – education.
