Scholarship :
IITM is committed to the success of its students. For some, the financial responsibilities of school fees can be an inhibiting factor in their pursuit of world class education. Scholarships may provide a solution to this situation.
On a limited basis, two types of scholarships are available to the students of IITM :
** Academic Excellence
** Financial need-based (assessed by committee members)
Scholarship Scheme :
Eligibility Criteria- Scholarship
Applicant from with 60% or above in 12th /diploma – 7.5 % of tuition fee
Applicant from with 65% or above in 12th /diploma – 10 % of tuition fee
Applicant from with 75% or above in 12th /diploma – 12.5 % of tuition fee
Applicant from with 80% or above in 12th /diploma – 15 % of tuition fee
Or
Upto 50000 All India Overall Rank (not category or state rank) – 25 % of tuition fee
50001 to 100000 – 20 % of tuition fee
100001 to 200000 – 15 % of tuition fee
200001 to 300000 – 10 % of tuition fee
Note :-
Girls applicants will get 5% extra discount in tuition fee.
Scholarships are typically provided in the form of tuition waiver, certification reimbursement or purchase of academic material.
A sample list of scholarships for the year 2012-13 :
** Highest academic percentages in CSE, IT, ECE, or EEE
** Student of the Year
** Debate Champion
** Athletic Excellence
** Volunteerism Award
** Leadership Award

At this time, most of these scholarships will be provided by IITM. In the future, our goal is to approach corporations, foundations, organizations and individuals to provide additional scholarships and/or financial assistance to the students.
