KSET Examination : 8th December 2013 (Sunday)
The candidates should keep himself the print out of online Admission card and will bring it on the day of examination after affixing the identical passport size photograph. The photograph must be signed across by the candidate after affixing, so that a part of the signature spreads over the Admit Card. Besides, it should be duly attested by the Head of the University Department/Principal of the College/Class-1 Gazetted officer.
The candidate can download the Admission card for K-SET up to the last date fixed for submission of hard copy to the Nodal Center.
It may be noted that NO ADMISSION CARD will be issued by the respective K-SET Nodal University Centers. Candidates are requested to ascertain their venue of the test/seating arrangement from the website of the respective K-SET Nodal University Centers and note the venue of Examination in their printout of online Admission Card at least 10 days before the Examination.
The K-SET Nodal center will NOT inform to the candidate individually regarding the seating arrangement/Venue of Test.
The candidates are required to bring a photo identity card also along with their printout of online Admission Card on the day of examination.
It may be pointed out that noting of seating arrangement/Venue of test from the website of respective K-SET Nodal Universities will be the sole responsibility of candidate only. The K-SET Nodal Universities will NOT inform to the candidate separately regarding the seating arrangement/Venue of Test.
In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to Apply early enough through online. K-SET will not be responsible for any network problems are any other problem of this nature while submission of online Application during last days.
Allotment of Roll numbers for K-SET Examination :
The Roll numbers of all the candidates who have registered on-line for K-SET examination have been allotted at the following Eleven Centers where test will be conducted in Karnataka State. The candidate can click at their respective examination center chosen for their venue.
Note :
1) Candidates are here by informed to NOTE DOWN their respective Examination center in their Admission Card.
2) Candidates have to be present at 8.45am on 8th December 2013 (Sunday) at the venue of the Examination.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :
As scheduled, the Karnataka State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (KSET) examination will be held on 8th December 2013 (SUNDAY) at ELEVEN different centers in Karnataka State. The test will be conducted for 32 subjects as per the notification. All the THREE question papers contain only objective type, multiple choice questions. The syllabus and question paper pattern is same as that of UGC-NET examination and is available in the website.
All the candidates are hereby informed to bring the Admission card with them and appear for the examination. No duplicate Admission card will be issued to the candidates.
All the candidates are hereby informed to download and read carefully the Directions to candidates which has been uploaded in our website. Instructions to candidates about how to fill up OMR answer sheets of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III has also been uploaded along with the sample copy of the OMR sheet.
Soon after the examination, the candidates can take question paper booklet as well as carbon copy of the OMR answer sheet along with them. The KEY for question papers will be announced in the website soon after the examination.
All the candidates who have applied for the K-SET-2013 examination have been allotted the seat in various examination centers (colleges) at ELEVEN examination centers across the state. The candidates are hereby informed to note down their venue of the test center in their Admission card and appear for the examination on the time and date specified.
For any clarification, the candidates can contact the respective NODAL officers of K-SET centers, where the candidates have submitted their hard copy of the application form.
NON-RECIEPT OF ADMISSION CARD:
Candidate will be NOT be allowed to appear for the Examination without the VALID Admission card. It has come to our notice that some of the candidates have submitted the Admission card along with the HARD COPY of the Application form to the respective NODAL center.
Some candidates have NOT Downloaded or do not have the Admission card. Such candidate can collect the Admission card at their respective NODAL center, after producing the Following documents:
i) Copy of the Application/Challen/ Roll number of candidate
ii) Address proof : Student ID / Driving Licence/ Aadhar / EPIC
iii) Two passport size photo
iv) Request letter for issuing the Admission card
