Long term Fellowship in General Ophthalmology :
This fellowship is aimed at the young ophthalmologist who wishes to comprehensively enhance their work experience and become proficient in both medical and surgical areas of ophthalmology. In this period they will be guided in SICS and later Phaco in a phased manner. They will also be exposed to other sub specialties in ophthalmology like Cataract and refractive surgery, Cornea, Glaucoma, Paediatric ophthalmology, Orbit and Oculoplasty and Medical and surgical Retina.
The candidate will be paid a stipend. Accommodation will have to be arranged by the candidate, the hospital will assist in this.
Duration :
18 months of which last 6 months will be in a speciality of the candidate’s choice.
Eligibility :
Post graduates in ophthalmology (DO, MS, DNB or FRCS)

Frequency : Every 6 months – January and July every year.
International Candidates Training :
For the candidates of foreign origin and those who have qualifications from other countries, MCI (Medical Council of India) registration is mandatory before commencing the course. The hospital will assist in this formality.
