TCS National Qualifier Test (TNQT) is a PAN India Drive beginning with an Online Test followed by a Personal Interview which will have three rounds – Technical, Managerial & HR. Post the assessment, interview date and location will be communicated to candidates individually.

About TNQT

TCS National Qualifier Test also called the TNQT test, is a nationwide online test with students of the year of passing (YOP) 2019 & 2018 can appear for it.

This test is essential for every student or applicant or aspirant seeking for great career opportunities with TCS.

Eligibility Criteria

** Full Time Graduates from B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA – 2018 & 2019.
** Eligible Streams from UG / PG – All Engineering Streams.
** Eligible Streams from MCA & M.Sc – MCA with B.Sc / BCA / B.Com / BA (with Maths / Statistics)
** % Criteria – 60% throughout Academics in X / XII / UG / Diploma / PG
** Extended Education – Overall Gap in Academic Career not to exceed 2 years

How To Register?

Step-2 : Click on the “Register Now” button.

Step-4 : Fill the form and submit.

Step-5 : After successful registration, Login with your Email ID/ Reference ID and Password.

Step-6 : Click the link ‘Apply For Drive’ and Fill the online application form and submit.

About The Test

The TNQT is a 90 minutes test. It comprises of 4 sections: English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Programming Concepts & Coding.

Even if you have a CT or a DT number your candidature for TNQT of 2019 & 2018 will be considered only after completing the below-mentioned steps:

Yes, you can participate. You would however need to ‘Apply For Drive’ by logging on to https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/.

What Year Of Passing students are eligible ?

I am getting an error while updating my XII (12th) Standard details in the application form. What should I do?
Please note you need to enter a minimum 8 months upto maximum 16 months in your XII (12th) std course duration details.

My account is locked. How can I unlock it?
Request you to directly log on to https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/.

Click the ‘Unlock Account & Reset Password’ link on the Login screen.
You will receive an auto-generated email for resetting the password after 15 minutes.

Please do not click on the link repeatedly as every time you click on the link, the previous password expires and a new password is generated and sent to your registered email address.

Request you to use a Desktop/Laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer/Google Chrome.

What will be the TCS Off Campus Phase pattern?
The TCS Off Campus – Phase II is a 90 minutes test comprising of 4 sections: English, Quantitative Aptitude, Programming Logic & Coding.

I am not able to find the apply for drive option. What should I do?
Once you complete your application form, logout and login again. Then click on apply for drive. If you are not getting the Apply for drive option, please check:

My college has CGPA grading system. However, in my application form, there is only option to update my marks.What should I do?
Please convert CGPA into marks as per the guidelines prescribed by your university/applicable in your state and complete the application form and click on Apply for Drive.

What If I already have a CT or a DT reference number?
No you don’t need to register again, please ensure you fill the Application Form & Click on ‘Apply For Drive’

Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes in my profile?
Yes, You can logon to https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/ and make changes in a few limited fields like Academic Details & Resume. You cannot make changes to Your Name / Email Id & Date Of Birth.

I have wrongly created my profile under ‘BPS’. What should I do now?
If you have wrongly created your profile under BPS, you will need to create your profile under ‘IT’ once again using your alternate Email ID.

I am not able to edit the Full Time/Part time course in my Application Form. What should I do?
If you are not able to edit the Full time/Part time course in the Application form, you will need to create your profile once again using your alternate Email ID.

I have created 2 profiles. What should I do now?
Only 1 profile can be created per candidate. If an existence of a duplicate profile if found, it could lead to disqualification of candidate. Should you have created a Duplicate profile for any reason, you will need to write to ilp.support@tcs.com along with the details of the duplicate profile to be deleted.

I am not able to view my Application form preview.
Please upload your photo and CV once again as per the format prescribed and then preview your application form.

I have passed out in 2018. I attended the Off Campus test last year. Am I eligible to attend the test once again?
Yes, you are eligible to attend the test once again. You need to update your application form if required and click on Apply for drive once again.

Will Interviews also be conducted on the day of the TCS Off Campus Phase II Off Campus?
No, interviews will not be conducted on the day of the TCS Off Campus Phase II. If you clear the TCS Off Phase II, details of the Interview schedule will be sent to you on your registered email id.

I am not able to come for the test at my reporting time as mentioned on the Hall Ticket. Can I change the timing of the test?
No, you cannot change the timing of the test. You will have to report at the time mentioned in your Hall Ticket.

I will not be able to attend the TCS Off Campus Phase II as I am out of town. Can you please change the date?
The date of the TCS Off Campus Phase II cannot be changed.

Where can I check my Hall Ticket?
You will receive your hall ticket through an email from TCS Careers sent to your registered E-Mail id.

What do I need to carry for the Test?
Once your Hall Ticket is generated, it will be sent from TCS Careers via an e mail on your registered email id. The hall ticket will outline all documents that need to be carried for the TCS Off Campus Phase II Off Campus test.

What time and place do I need to report for the Test ?
Please refer to the Hall Ticket for the Reporting time and place for the TCS Off Campus Phase II test.

I want to change my Test Location. Where can I do so?
Yes, You can change the details of the Test City, Please click on ‘Update Drive Details’ to change. Note: Changes cannot be done to your test location post the last date of registration.

How will we get the results of the TCS Off Campus Phase II Off Campus?
The results of TCS Off Campus Phase II will be sent by email to your registered email id.

Do I have to incur any cost to appear for the TCS TCS Off Campus Phase II ?
Certainly not. TCS, at any stage of the hiring process, does not charge its candidates.

I have got an Offer Letter, when do I need to join?
Joining would be from October Mid onwards.

I am currently working and have a notice period. Can I extend my DOJ?
No, we can’t extend your DOJ.
