Student Scholarship :
Talented Havyak students could not get into higher education due to poor financial position, Realising this condition Havyaka Mhasabha collected funds from few wealthy individuals and distributed as interest free loan to deserving poor Havyaka students with the condition that the amount availed by students to be returned on getting employment after completion of education.

Due to failure to refund the availed interest free loan by beneficiary, the scheme could not be continued. Mahasabha discussed the matter and decided to offer “ Student Scholarship” instead of interest free loan.Mahasabha appealed to philanthropic to donate money for scholarship fund and the amount so collected is deposited as scholarship fund and the interest accrued on this amount is distributed to poor deserving Havyaka students as scholarship every year.

During 2007-08 Rs. 3 lakhs has been distributed as scholarship. Every year Mahasabha invites application from poor students and process the application and distributes scholarship to poor students from primary class to higher education ie., Degree, Post Graduation etc.,.Apart from this few philanthropists are also offering scholarship through Mahasabha for Special courses such as
** Late Shri Naraya Bhat Jujibailu Memorial scholarship for Agriculture/Horticulture students.
** Late Smt. Radha Shastri Memorial scholarship for home science, Nursing, Child training/education.

Notification Date :
Every year during July / August application for scholarship is published in our Havyaka monthly Magazine.

How to Apply?
The prescribed application is sent to deserving students on request and the application received is processed by Sanchalana Committee for recommendation. Application is also available in our web site.Demand for scholarship is increasing by many fold every year.

The amount available for distribution is no commensurate with demand. Mahasabha appeals to kind hearted philanthropists to donate to this noble case.Cheque / DD may be sent in the name of “SHRI AKHILA HAVYAKA MAHASABHA. The name of donors are published in our monthly magazine.
