(ii) Degree in teaching or education or equivalent (a candidate not possessing this qualification may apply but if selected shall have to acquire such qualification within three years of joining the post and will draw on an ad-hoc basis the initial of the time scale of pay till obtaining the same),
(iii) teaching experience in English medium secondary schools, preferably residential ones, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified candidates &
(iv) ability to teach in English medium

(i) A Masters’ Degree of two years duration (regular) course, with Honours at Graduation level, having at least 55% marks in any school teaching subject and Diploma/Degree in Education/Primary Education with 55% marks – all from recognized University/Institute. OR
M.Ed./M.Ed. (Elementary) with 55% marks or M.A. in Education with 55% marks and Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education with 55% marks – all from recognized University/Institute;
(ii) Five years experience of teaching in Primary or Elementary Teachers’ Training Institute;
(iii) Knowledge of Bengali – spoken and written (for Bengali Medium Schools) & Knowledge of Nepali – spoken and written (for Nepali Medium Schools) and
(iv) Acquisition of Computer Literacy.
