Applications are invited for admission to the following courses offered by the P.G. Extension Center of Madurai Kamaraj University at Virudhunagar for the academic year 2013-2014

1. Name of the course : M.Sc., Bio- Technology
Eligibility : A pass in B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry / Zoology / Botany / Biotechnology / Energy and Environmental Science / Agri / Veter / MBBS or BDS / BE / B.Tech / Nanoscience / Nanotechnology / Material Engg / Chemical Engg / Biotechnology with Minimum 55% aggregate marks and Science at +2 level is a must.

2. Name of the course : M.Sc., Chemistry
Eligibility : pass in B. Sc. Chemistry / Special Chemistry / Applied Chemistry degree with Physics as one of the ancillaries and other any one of the ancillaries viz. Maths, Botany or Zoology with 55% of aggregate marks

Selection Procedure :
i) Candidates should have studied under 10+2+3 or 10+3+2 or 10+2+4 pattern.
ii) SC/ST candidates are exempted from the payment of Registration Fee for any one course only. For additional courses applied, Registration Fee should be paid.
iii) However, they should send the Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with the application.
iv) Students should write their name, complete address and course for which applied in Block letters on the reverse side of the demand draft.

Fee : Demand draft for Rs.200/- towards registration fee obtained after the date of advertisement be drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai” payable at Madurai

Selection Procedure :
Reservation Policy : Tamilnadu Government Reservation Policy will be strictly followed for admission to these courses.
