Applications are invited for admission to the following courses for the academic session 2014-2015.
1 Name of the Course : Diploma in Food Production
Duration (Inclusive of Training):1 Year in Institute & 6 Months Training in a Hotel
Eligibility with ENGLISH as one of the subjects: HSC/(10+2) Pass or equivalent
2 Name of the Course : Diploma in Bakery & Confectionery
Duration (Inclusive of Training):1 Year in Institute & 6 Months Training in a Hotel/Reputed Bakery
Eligibility with ENGLISH as one of the subjects: HSC/(10+2) Pass or equivalent
3 Name of the Course : Craftsmanship Course in Food Production
Duration (Inclusive of Training):1 Year in Institute & 6 Months Training in a Hotel
Eligibility with ENGLISH as one of the subjects: 10th PASS or equivalent
4 Name of the Course : Crafstmanship Course in Food & Beverage Service
Duration (Inclusive of Training): 21 Weeks at Institute & 3 Weeks Training in a Hotel
Eligibility with ENGLISH as one of the subjects: 10th PASS or equivalent
Age Limit as on 01.07.14 : 25 yrs (born on or after July 01, 1989)
Date of Interview :10.07.14 9.00am Onwards
How to Apply :
APPLICATION FORM along with other details is available on payment of Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST & P.H.) inclusive of Registration fee, in cash in person. If the application and brochure is required by Post please send Rs.450/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) by D.D. drawn in favour of PRINCIPAL, INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT, Chennai 600 113 payable at Chennai also enclosing an attested photocopy of Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST candidates and specifying the course for which form is required.

2 Last date for Issue of Application Form : By Post :04.07.2014. In person: 09.07.2014. UP TO 4.00 PM
3 Last Date for receipt of filled in Application Form by the Institute : 09.07.2014. UP TO 5.00 PM
4 Results will be announced on : 10.07.2014 at the Institute and in the Institute website.
5 Payment of fees from : 10.07.2014.
6 Classes will commence from : 21.07.2014.
