Applications are invited for two (02) temporary positions of JRF/SRF under the research projects on “Prevalence and molecular epidemiology of bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) in ruminants with special reference to mithun (BOS frontalis) in North Eastern States of India” & CDDL, AI.
1. Name of the project : JRF/SRF under DBT Project
No. of position : One (01)
Qualifications :
Essential:-M.V.Sc. Virology/ Immunology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology or M.Sc. Microbiology/Biotechnology.
Desirable:- Experience in working on animal viral diseases diagnosis/Experience in cell culture, ELISA, RT–PCR, Real time RT–PCR, Sequencing, virus isolation and virus neutralization test.
Duration : Three years.
Age : 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Remuneration : Rs.18000/= +HRA (20%) for 1st & 2nd years and Rs.20000/= + HRA ( 20%) for 3rd year for M.V.Sc. Rs.12000/= +HRA (20%) for 1st & 2nd years and Rs.14000/= +HRA 20% for 3rd year
for M.Sc. Rs. 16000/= +HRA (20%) for 1st & 2nd years and Rs.18000/= +HRA (20%) for 3rd year for M.Sc. with NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification.
2 Name of the project : “Senior Research Fellow” under CDDL, AI project on “Surveillance of Avian Influenza in Indian and Imported Poultry and their products ”

Essential Qualifications: Candidate should hold M.V.Sc.(Microbiology/Pathology/Biotechnology/Veterinary Public Health) OR M.Sc. (Virology) with basic degree B.V.Sc. & A.H. OR M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology) with project work on animal studies.
Desirable:-Working experience in relevant areas.
Duration : Initially for a period of 01 year but likely to be extended.
Age : 35 years for men & 40 years for women
Remuneration :
Rs.18000/=PM + (20%) HRA for the candidates holding M.V.Sc./M.Sc. with basic degree B.V.Sc. & A.H. for 1st & 2nd year and Rs.20000/=PM +(20%) HRA for 3rd year.
Rs.16000/=PM +(20%) HRA for 1st & 2nd year & Rs.18000/= PM + (20%) HRA for 3rd year for the candidates holding M.Sc. degree.
