Terms And Conditions :
1. ‘Classmate Cover Hunt’ Contest is brought to you by ITC Classmate and is valid from 10th June to July 5th 2014
2. He/She will have to like the Classmate Facebook Page to enter the contest.
3. Contest is open to all Indian residents 13 – 22 years of age except employees and the family members of ITC Classmate, its associate companies, its advertising and promotional agencies and its auditors.
Phase 1 : Submission of entries. Last date 23rd June 2014.
Phase 2 : 10 cover designs will be selected from each zone (North, South, East, West) will be announced on 25th June 2014
Phase 3 : Out of the 40, 15 designs will be up for voting (on Facebook). ITC Classmate will decide which 15 cover designs will be selected.
4. Phase 4 : The 15 cover designs will be up for voting from 26th June to 5th July 2014 on the Classmate Facebook page. The winners will be decided on uniqueness, creativity and votes.
5. There will be 5 winners each from across India.
6. The Contest is open to all Participants who are members/fans of Classmate on facebook.com
7. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by the Contest Terms & Conditions and the decisions of the panel of judges.
8. The participant will have to submit the required information to submit his/her artwork
9. Each entry shall be considered and judged individually by the panel of judges nominated by Classmate.
10. Any Participation either before 10th May (effective period) will not be considered for judging.
11. The decisions of the judges (Classmate Ltd.) are final and no appeals and/or objections will be entertained.
12. Once the jury decides the winner at the end of the effective periods, we will announce them on the Classmate fan page on Facebook (FB)
13. Spammers and fake profiles will be disqualified.
14. Classmate reserves the rights to disqualify any entry from winning if they do not meet the above stated criteria.
15. Classmate reserves the absolute right at any time without assigning any reasons to add, alter, modify change or vary the terms and conditions contained herein, wholly or in part at its’ absolute discretion.
16. In the event that there is a tie for any of the prizes the winner will be decided at the sole discretion of the judges.
17. Winners agree that Classmate has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest and that all decisions of Classmate are final and binding.
18. Please note that each participant can win only once

Basic Design Guidelines :
1.The image should be atleast an A3 ( 297 MM X 420 MM ) or least an A4 ( 210 MM X 297 MM ) size.
2. If a drawing is used for submission then it should be hand drawn and scanned at a high resolution.
3.If an image ( photograph of the artwork ) is submitted as a design or part of a design, then the it should be
a) A photograph taken by you.
b) The camera model and specifications should be given along with it.
4.No Human faces can be used as a part of the design.
5. It is best to submit a hand drawn image.
6.While submitting, mention your name, age, class, school, your full residential address and your medium of coloring / drawing.
a) the pencil used for drawing and shading
b) color pencils, pastels, poster colors , acrylic colors etc used for colouring.
7. Use plain white sheet for your drawings / submissions.
8.Give a 50 words ( minimum ) write up about your drawing.
9. Do not download images from the internet or use any copyrighted images for creating the artwork

Technical / Ethical Guidelines :
1) Any image used should be at 300 dpi resolution at a size which is at least 10% larger than the size of the notebook required. More the resolution at higher the size, the better.
2)No corporate logo is to be used.
3)No Human faces can be used as a part of the design.
4)Should not use images which shows humans / children in inappropriate dresses ( like swimming costume etc).
5)Image should be clear without any blemishes or marks which make the image look pixilated, blurred or out of focus.
