UC Browser FIFA World Cup Guessing Contest 2014 :
Handicap Betting :
There are handicaps in place for every match that participants should take into account when making bets. This means the result of the bets is not completely reliant upon the final score of the match.

The handicap works this way :
** One team or player will be given a virtual deficit to overcome (a handicap of -1, -2 etc.) at the start of the match.
** Participants bet on which team will win with the handicap taken into account
** At the end of the match, the handicap will be subtracted from the actual final score. The result will ultimately determine the result of the match for the World Cup Guessing Contest.

Example :
In a game between Brazil vs. England, the final score of the match is a 1-1 tie. Prior to the match, a -1 handicap was placed on Brazil. In this case, participants who picked ‘England’ are the winners of the guessing contest because after the -1 handicap is subtracted from Brazil’s points (1-1=0), the result is 0-1, favoring England.

Important :
The handicap is only applicable to one team per match. It is NOT applied to both teams.

Prizes :
The UC Browser World Cup Guessing Contest is divided into three phases with three rounds in total. There will be a group of winners for each round. The prizes to be won are based on each participants’ ranking in each round. Make sure to fill in your contact details to claim your prize.

Note :
** Any participant who correctly guesses every winner (or tie) of the group stage (total of 48 matches) of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ will win a lump sum of $200,000 / Rs. 10,000,000. All incidental costs/taxes/levies related to the prize(s), if any, shall be exclusively borne by the winning participant.
** UC Mobile New World Limited reserves the right to the final interpretation of the rankings and final winners.

How to play :
** Participants can pick the winner of a match or a tie starting 48 hours prior to the start of the match. The score at the end of the 90-minute match will be considered as the final score. Scores incurred during overtime and penalty kicks will not be taken into account.
** When submitting guesses, participants must determine how many points (100-1000) they wish to bet. Handicaps put in place for every match should be considered when making the bet as this can ultimately determine whether the participant wins or loses.

Calculation of points :
** A participant’s points earned is determined by the amount of points that participant bets multiplied by the odds of that option.
** If a participant bets 1000 points for one team to win, and the odds is 1.05, then the participant will receive 1000*1.05=1050 points if he or she guesses the right result (after the handicap is applied).

Extra points :
There are two ways to earn extra points :
Check-in : Click the Salary button on the website to earn 200 points. You can earn check-in points only once per day.
Share : An extra 100 points can be gained each time the World Cup Guessing Contest is shared on Facebook. You can earn up to 300 points daily by sharing.

Other Terms&conditions :
** The employees of UCWeb and their group companies, affiliate or associate companies shall not be eligible to win any Prize under this Offer;
** Only the mentioned prizes will be given to the winners. No other cost will be covered by organizer / UCWeb;
** All incidental costs/taxes/levies related to the prize(s), if any, shall be exclusively borne by the User;
** The Organizers reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify this offer or any part thereof including the eligibility criteria at its sole discretion at anytime during its validity as may be required in view of business exigencies and/or changes by regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and the same shall be binding on the User;
** The existence of a dispute, if any, regarding the prize shall not constitute a claim against UCWeb;
