Here’s how you can go.. Get it!
Step 1 :
Choose Category :
There are three categories for the contest.
1) Short Film
2) Music Video
3) Photography.
Choose the category that you wish to participate in. You can enter any one, two or all three categories.
Step 2 : Understand Guidelines, Terms & Conditions of the Contest: Read the Guidelines, Terms and Conditions on this contest website.
Step 3 : Open your mind.. Pull out your mobile… Go Shoot!
Step 4 : Submit/Upload Entries on or before 8th December 2013!
Step 5 : Sit back.. Watch your mobile-creativity get screened on Kappa TV, by an illustrious panel of celebrity judges. (If your entry is selected)
Step 6 : If you have won, show up at Kappa TV with a gunny bag and body guards.. to collect your Prize Money. On your way back, perhaps pick up a book or two on how to handle fame and stardom. Throw a party for your friends… or Go hiding!
Step 7 : If you have lost, go to the Himalayas and spend a year thinking about your next big idea and come back for Season 2 of Kappa TV Shoot an Idea Contest.

All entries (Short Films, Music Video and Photographs) must be shot on a mobile.

Judging Process :
Phase 1 : An eminent judging panel appointed by Kappa TV will judge all entries received on or before 21st November 2013. The best entries and their contestants will be presented as prime time episodes on Kappa TV from last week of November 2013.
Phase 2 : A shortlist of 10 contestants or groups will be selected through the screening process of Phase 1. A new theme will be given to the shortlisted contestants to work on. Time provided to complete the work and submit to Kappa TV will be 5 days.
Phase 3 : The Kappa TV judging panel will be screening the final entries and the contestants, and present it on Kappa TV as prime time episodes during December 2013. The best three as first, second and third will be selected through the process and rewarded.

When are you planning to announce the 2nd round short film result?
I have participated in the short film contest and yesterday I got a call from the mathrubhumi office that my film “ICU PSYCHOSIS” has passed the first level. They asked me to come for a film workshop on 21st of this month at Ernakulam. I would like to know the following screening procedures is there any problem if I may not able to attend the workshop on Saturday is it mandatory. Expecting a speedy reply thank you.
If you are willing to go to the next level it will be better if you follow their instructions. If you are not able to participate let them know about your problem and they may give you a solution.
