Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses commencing in July 2015 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent / Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branche

FLYING BRANCH :
(a) No.198/15F/SSC/M Short Service Commission
TECHNICAL BRANCH :
(a) No. 197/15T/PC/M (Permanent Commission)
(b) No. 197/15T/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
GROUND DUTY BRANCHES :
(a) No. 197/15G/PC/M (Permanent Commission)
(b) No.197/15G/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
Eligibility Conditions:
I. Flying Branch – 198/15F/SSC/M :
Age: 19 to 23 years as on 01 July 2015
Educational Qualifications: Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
Height and Weight: Minimum height : 162.5 cms with correlated weight, Leg Length : Min – 99 cms. Max – 120 cms. Thigh Length : Max – 64 cms. Sitting Height : Min – 81.5 cms. Max – 96 cms
II. Technical Branch – 197/15T/PC/M and (b) No. 197/15T/SSC/M :
Age: 18 to 28 years as on 01 July 2015
(b) Educational Qualifications:
(i) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}. Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies. Candidates should also fulfil conditions given in Para 4 (a).
(ii) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)}. Candidates applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies
Physical Standards :
(i) Height and Weight: Minimum height :- Men – 157.5 Cms with correlated weight .
(ii) All other medical criteria would be evaluated by the Air Force Medical Authorities whose decision on the fitness would be final
III. Ground Duty Branches : No. 197/15G/PC/M And No.197/15G/SSC/M
Age as on 01 July 2015 :
For Graduate : 20-23 years
For Post Graduates / LLB (Five years integrated course): 20-25 years
For LLB (Three Years Course after Graduation) : 20-26 years
For MEd/PhD/CA/ICWA : 20-27 years
Height & Weight : 157.5 Cms with correlated weight.
