Applications in prescribed forms are invited for admission into two year M.P.Ed. Course (N.C.T.E. Approved) for session 2014 – 2016

Eligibility: Graduate with sound sports background and B.P.Ed. Degree or its equivalent from any recognized University having at least 55% marks in the Physical Education Degree Examination.(As per NCTE Norm)

Reservation Of Seats:
A) Usual SC/ST Quota
B) Faculty Quota (Sports)
C) Five seats for women candidates
D) One seat for approved in-service Physical Education personnel
E) 60% seats will be reserved for the candidates who have their B.P.Ed. Degree from the Kalyani University.

There will be Practical Test, Comprehension Test & Interview for selection of candidates for M.P.Ed. Course. Selected candidates must score at least 30% in comprehension test and practical test separately.

Note : Current B.P.Ed batch of K.U. may apply for M.P.Ed course and appear in the admission test prior to the publication of B.P.Ed result. But admission from them will be made after fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Duration : The M.P.Ed. programme shall be of a duration of two academic years or Four Semesters.

Admission Procedure : Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination (written test, fitness test, interview and percentage in qualifying examination) or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government / University.
