Vide Notification dated 13.09.2013, objections were called for from the candidates regarding the key answers along with justification to the e-mail address hckrecruitmentonline@gmail.com on or before 16-09-2013 before 4:00 p.m. In response thereto, several objections were received through e-mail. After considering such objections, the key answers for 3 questions are modified and 1 grace mark is given to one question wherein all the key answers are incorrect for that question.
Further, the candidates who have appeared for the Written Test can access the final modified key answers in the website given below. A list of 286 eligible candidates prepared in the ratio of 1:8 along with their Register numbers is web hosted in the said website.
Further, a list of candidates who are ineligible for viva-voce is also web hosted on the website.
The schedule of dates for viva-voce in the ratio of 1:8 is notified. The candidates whose Register Nos. indicated should appear for viva-voce, at their own cost on the dates mentioned in the Annexures.

I am a applicant, please tell, has anyone applied for 2018 software technician post? Can anyone tell the written test pattern?
Sachin, have you received your viva call letter of 2018 ST? if so please intimate.
I got the information that they have some threshold for viva too. The candidates who are all got lesser marks than that threshold are considered as ‘NO ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOUND’.
Note: This criteria was not mentioned in the notification.
This is very disgusting. No matter if they have not selected us. But who are they to evaluate our eligibility. In 3 minutes how can they judge a candidate’s ability. Why did VTU gave us Engineering Degree With Distinction? I think they have considered that Viva Voce was greater than VTU distinction certificate.
The candidates whose interview was scheduled in the evening got almost all interview questions. I see most of the candidates who are selected had their interview in the evening.
Lost hope in Karnataka Govt Jobs. They shortlisted 1:10 which is very huge. Simply they are doing time pass and making money in the name of application fees.
Senior citizens blame on our generation as we are moving towards IT companies and going abroad. The govt has no ability in creating jobs.
This is scam. Thats for sure. If they have enough guts, let them give interview marks and display result category wise.
Today I have given RTI application and talked with registrar_recruitment personally but registrar did not responded in a correct manner. He told, you go through RTI, don’t come here and disturb us. You are not suppose to come here. We did it carefully and correctly. He told these words harshly. If we go and protest there he may respond in other manner don’t know how harsh he’ll behave. So its better for us to go through RTI. Within a week I’ll get information, then I’ll decide what to do. And I’m not coming on Monday. I’ll go with this personally with RTI and with lawyer.
I have also some doubt i.e. in the notification they have mentioned that they will select for viva in the ratio 1:8( i.e it will become 286 candidates) but they have made it to 1:10 and this will become 10*(32 posts)=320 candidates but they have called 369 candidates for viva and from where these extra 49 candidates came from even if they have called in the ratio 1:10 ? I think there is something going wrong.
Someone told that for 32 posts got selected and they had given appointment letter for 32 posts and only they mentioned 25 in the website.

I got selected for viva but they have taken 5 minutes only interview but they asked only 2 questions for technical so how they select jobs and I got information. One of my uncle is working there and he told me already students are selected inside for some amount. What is this? I don’t expect these kind of answers.
ne of my friend told me his friend got less marks but he didn’t told me his marks and he told me that because very less marks hck member asked 5 lakhs for him and he agreed for that. So he selected for viva voce even he got very less marks in written test and guys I will find out what is the marks very soon. But those who are selected for viva and including me we need to ask on what basis will they get selected for job? We need to ask RTI act guys. They are not doing recruitment process properly.

30 marks:2 to 4 minutes.
How is it possible to judge a candidates’ ability in 3 minutes and evaluate him for 30 marks??
Formality sake they have conducted interview. I don’t think they will do selection list after interview. It seems selection list is already prepared before interview.

1457 candidates who have scored 35 marks and above. Mine is 39 also my % in 10th, PUC& BE is more than 75, but for Viva voce they selected 129 members. Is this final list or they will do this batch wise? If any body knows about this please let me know.

Today I called to High Court of Karnataka on 08022954441 and again they started to reply that they don’t know the expected day. They are saying that information having in Computer Section. They can say anything about the ST information.
So what I am saying that the series of A & B will get problem if they get information within 2 days as they did for exam.
Previous year also they did like that. So many candidate faced problem in Personal Question asked by Honorable Judges because they had not prepared for Personal Interview, They thought question will be asked from technical.
If we get very late information then our preparation will go vested. So keep asking query on 08022954441 and try to get Computer Section contact no.

I had dialed to HCK phone number. Interview list will be published within 15 days. It means by end of this month-they told. So no need to keep on checking websites.
Only marks secured in written test conducted by high court is considered to shortlist candidates for viva. The reason HCK asked scanned copies of marks cards and degree certificate is only to check the eligibility of candidates. The eligibility is candidate should be FIRST CLASS BE(CS,EC,Instrumentation,IT) / MCA / MSc(CS,Electronics).
Only candidates declared as first class in degree certificate are only eligible.
HCK didn’t asked for 10th or PUC marks card. So its not been considered.
No matters how much percentage he got in his BE/MCA exams, percentage is not considered for shortlisting, only they want to check that the candidate has got First class marks and also they check that the course(BE/MCA) done by the candidate is AICTE approved or not. They only consider AICTE approved degree holders.

Yes all 1457 candidates got email from HCK to send their scanned documents. HCK had sent 15 emails (each group of about 100 candidates.) After considering their eligibility and marks they shortlist candidates on some ratio (probably 1:8) based on category reservation. Final list of selected candidates for viva will be web hosted.
I think they will consider written exam and also percentage secured in degree for viva because many of them passed same marks 40 ,41,42 etc because 40 scored are 70 students and 41 scored are 50 students. Similarly like these for this purpose they asked marks card to consider the percentage also for merit list.

Hi SKT they are not mentioned document verification in mail and we can submit the marks card in viva round only why they need scan copy tell me ? , Recently I have checked one of the candidate percentage. She got second class in BE but she passed written exam and she got mail to send documents and kannada is must for this job. Those who don’t know Kannada they will not consider see other Karnataka government jobs notification
I am from Karnataka state 2B category I got mail from hck for sending all semester marks card and got 45 in written test. Anyone tell me how they conduct interview process?
HC will shortlist for the viva-voce on category basis. Not completely considering score in written test. Two lists will be created. one for HK and Non HK.
As we see in the seat matrix for Non HK region we can see 13 posts for GM. This ensures that (13*8=104) candidates will be shortlisted under GM which is based on 1:8 ratio. i.e., those who have scored 48 will be called for interview by default. Because in the marks list we can see 103 candidates scored 18 and above. Further recruitment team will make separate list for 1A, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, SC and ST.
We can predict only this much. Also there will be a separate list for HK.

457 students have qualified in written test. I don’t know what they will do. For 32 post how can they call so many students for interview?
35 is just passing marks. It does not ensure that you have qualified for the interview. If you have scored 45+ in Dec-2014 Exam then you can have hope. 45/70 is based on 1:8 ratio. Total number of posts: 32 hence 32*8=256. In the list 257 have 45 and above.
Do they make different Cut-off’s for different category?

I had attended High court of Karnataka Software technician written test(7th DEC 2014). In that paper 4 questions was containing 5 (a,b,c,d,e) options in that 4 questions 3 question answer was 5th Option(i.e E) and we got only 4 options(a,b,c,d) in OMR Sheet to mark answer. So this is the mistake made from High Court. So will they give grace marks for this questions?
You have to fill objection for it before 9-12-14 5PM. After considering objections will they decide further. How much did you get in key answers?

Or we all together make one RTI and we will ask our rights. We will take social media help if required. Then only they will listen our words. Otherwise they simply cancel recruitment process and make us fool. So this weekend Saturday we will go high court at 10:30 AM.

Today 29-oct-2014 I called to high court on 8022954441. Call receiver told that Due to Art 371j and Gulberg and many more reason affected by the Art 371j. Whole recruitment process has cancelled and fresh notification will be declared within one month.
But friends,It is true that Notification was declared before passing the Art 371j bill. So how they can apply this rule on that notification. Or if they are applying then let them apply but how can they cancel the whole recruitment process?
We can do one process,
First we should write an RTI and then on the basis of their response we can go for writ to upper court.
Because any rule can be applied if notification has done after passing rule.

I too agree. Actually for just 32 posts they have interviewed 256 candidates so let them shortlist 4-5 candidates who belong to Hyd-Kar region among 256 itself, simply why scrapping whole recruitment. Its utter waste of time and patience guys. Already its been more than a year.

Praveen, postponing results of software technicians is because of hyd-kar reservation. Now they wanna cancel whole recruitment. Fresh notification will come up within a month or may in a week.

Software technician recruitment process has been cancelled. All the interviewed candidates are rejected. They are going to announce new fresh notification for recruitment. New notification will be declared within 15 days, & don’t know how many years it will take to get job..! So easily they cancelled the whole recruitment process…!

How did you come to know this? Did you contacted any department? I really don’t think they will gonna cancel the notification since there were no irregularities found in the recruitment process, and hardly they have 32 posts and for 2-3 reservation posts they wont cancel the notification.
Guys its because of Vidhana souda we are still waiting for software technicians result.. After filing RTI in high court we have to file even for vidhana souda to remind them to respond over this issue quickly. No matter how many times we call or mail to high court its waste because even they are waiting for clarification from vidhana souda only.
Yes, high court recruitment cell is also waiting for clarification on 371-j. Don’t know when Karnataka government will clarify this issue. as soon this HK reservation issue is resolved then will announce results. Other department recruitment’s are going on, but only software technicians result is pending..! What should we have to do now?

First we have to draw 10 Rs postal order or DD in sbi branch in favor of Karnataka High court Registrar general and then we have to write application for clarification of recruitment process and put postal order or DD along with application letter in a covering letter and post it then within few days. They will answer for that ok.
I think some candidates should have to go directly to High court establishment bench to clarify about this delay in results. The main reason is candidates are not asking anything about results so they are not declaring it. If delay issue is related to government then they should have to take proper step to resolve it. This is not fare to halt results for such long time.

I had a discussion with the high court telephone caller he said due to administrative reason its pending and even he don’t have idea. How long it will take to get Govt approval and Hyderabad Karnataka region reservation. Also it is a main reason for this pending issue

Since you have not paid the application fee in any one of the modes prescribed under the said Rules, your application cannot be countenanced. As such your application stands disposed of accordingly.

The reason behind pending of software technician result is Article 371j. They are waiting for the clarification from Karnataka government regarding article 371j for recruitment.
How long do they need to take a decision? Hardly there are 32 posts. Its been 8 months giving interview, still they have not come up with results.
