Recruitment of 246 Posts of Bus Conductors
1 Provisional List of Short-Listed candidates (category wise) for the selection to the 246 Posts of Bus Conductors on the basis of the merit of the written test held on 23/11/2013. Thirty three percent of posts in each category have been given to the female candidates as per the term of advertisement given by this Department on 20.07.2013 in the News Papers / official Website. No female candidate is available in Ex-servicemen category.

2 The shortlisted candidates will be called in due course for verification of documents such as 10+2 pass certificates from recognized Board/ Institution and valid conductor licences. Special relaxation has been given to the female candidates in obtaining valid conductor licences within three months from the date of declaration of result. Before giving appointment to the shortlisted candidates they will be sent for medical examination for first entry into govt. service as well as reports regarding their character & antecedents etc. will be obtained.

3 The shortlisted candidates in the Other Backward Class category should have possessed OBC Caste Certificates on proper format issued on or before the written test failing which the claim for reservation shall be forfieted and next candidate from waiting list will be considered for selection / appointment. The caste name of OBC should be included in both Other Backward Class lists of Chandigarh i.e. U.T., Chandigarh list as well as Central List for U.T., Chandigarh.

4 The appointments to the posts of bus conductor shall be subject to the final outcome of CWP No.6263 of 2014 CAT pending before the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court.
