Instructions :
Examination process for Sister grade II Post (Advt No 1-13/2013-2014) scheduled on Sunday 17th and Tuesday 19th November 2013.

Please read these information and instruction leaflet carefully and take a print out for your records and reference.

SGPGI is conducting a two stage exam process for the recruitment of staff nurses. The first part will be an objective MCQ exam on 17 Nov2013 consisting of questions related to qualifying exam for nurses. It will consist of 65 nursing related questions and 15 general knowledge questions lasting 90 minutes. The results will be displayed within 24 hours on the Institute web site and on the notice board of the administrative block of SGPGI, which will indicate the list of candidates (3 times the number of advertised positions) who will be called for part B test to be held on 19Nov2013. Part B test will be an objective type exam of 30 minutes duration where practical nursing related questions will be asked and answers will have to be written down. The marks of part A and B will then be displayed in the web site for all candidates who have appeared for the respective examinations, and the total marks (part A + B) will be used to rank examinees.

Candidates will be required to download admit cards provided they have been found eligible and have completed necessary formalities. The list of all applicants whose forms reached SGPGI is being displayed. The list consists of 3 categories of persons : Eligibility status = Y (yes – they will be able to download an admit form); Eligibility status = PE (provisionally eligible – they need to come on 15th November at 9AM to the administrative block with 3 photos, all original certificates, identity proof, counterfoil of bank draft purchase and proof of dispatch of application form) for scrutiny and an admit card will be given the same day for the exam scheduled on 17Nov13; Eligibility status = N (No – they are ineligible). NO ADMIT CARDS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE EXAM VENUE.

Admit cards will contain information about the venue and time of the examination. There are 6 venues, located at distances of 1 KM to 15KM from Charbagh railway station, so prepare accordingly.

Admit cards for part B exam on 19 Nov 13 will be downloadable from the Institutes web site on Monday 18 Nov 13 by noon and available at the Administrative block of the Institute same time.

Biometric information will be recorded at all steps of the exam process, on multiple occasions including just before joining. All eligibility related documents and identity will be scrutinized at that time as well.

You are not permitted to being cell phones into the exam hall or ANY electronic device. Pens will be provided. Unfair means and impersonation will be dealt with according to provisions in Law.
