A. Teaching Post :

1. Ph.D. in Physical Education OR an eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in post graduate teaching and /or experience in research at the University / National Level Institution including experience of Guiding research at Doctoral Level. OR
An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
2. A minimum 400 score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) during last ten years.

2 Name of the post : Associate Professor (2)

1. A Master’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of the marks with good academic record or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale.
2. Ph.D. in Physical Education with evidence of publication work with minimum 10 publications as book or research paper.
3. At least eight years’ teaching experience / research experience in a department / college of Physical Education out of which at least three years’ experience at post- graduate level.
4. A minimum 300 score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) during last ten years.

B.Non-teaching (administrative) Post :
1 Name of the post : Deputy Registrar
No. of post : 1
Pay Scale & Grade pay : 15600-39100 & 6600/-
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade “B” in the UGC seven point scale.
2. At least 9 years’ experience as an Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.6000 and above with experience in educational administration. OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education. OR
Five years’ administrative experience as Assistant Registrar in PB-3 and GP of Rs. 5400/- or on an equivalent post.
3. Good knowledge and experience of the university system
4. Basic skill and knowledge of computer.
Age : Not more than 50 years.

2. Name of the post : Finance officer

1. A Master’s Degree in Advance accounts & auditing with 55% of marks or its equivalent grade B in the UGC seven point scale. OR
Charted Accountant / its equivalent degree with five years’ professional experience.
2. At least five years’ experience in the state Govt. Account Service Class-II. OR
3. Equivalent experience in recognized University or Comparable experience.
4. Basic skill and knowledge of computer.

3.Name of the post : Controller of Examination

3. Experience in planning of University system/governance in the field of higher education will be preferred.

5 Name of the post : Chief Coach

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or any Bachelor’s degree with one year degree or Diploma in Physical Education and a Diploma in Sports Coaching (one year regular courses) from Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) or P. G. Diploma in Sports Coaching from recognized Indian or Foreign University;
2. Evidence of having produced good performance teams / athletes for competitions like state /national/ inter-university /international /combined university;
3. Basic skill and knowledge of computer.
Age : Not more than 45 Years

6 Name of the post : Cashier

1. A Bachelor’s degree in B.Com/B.B.A/B.C.A with five years’ experience of cash handling in university or in a government or corporation established by Government or recognized Banks.
