Gauhati University is proposing to fill the following post in the Department of Statistics, Gauhati University under the research project entitled “Health Status of Tribal People in Assam” sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.

Emoluments : Max Rs. 1,000.00 per day (Consolidated)

Qualification : M.Sc. in Statistics/Anthropology/Economics with minimum 55% or equivalent Grade Point (50% or equivalent Grade Point in case of SC/ST/PH) or M. Phil.
Desirable : Knowledge in SPSS, R and at least one High Level language.
Experience : Data collection and report writing.

Job responsibility : Field work, data collection/Data entry, editing & Filtering/Data Analysis and Report Writing
Coverage of duty : Assam
