Applications are invited for following posts in various offices under Government of India falling within the jurisdiction of Staff Selection Commission (Central Region), Allahabad

CAT-1: One
Name of the post : Senior Technical Assistant(Hydrogeology)
Vacancy: 01 (UR)
Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800 with G.P. 4600/- (revised)
Age: Not Exceeding 30 years
Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Geology or Hydrogeology or Applied Geology from a recognized University or equivalent.

CAT-2: One
Name of the post : Senior Scientific Assistant(Geology)
Vacancy: 01 (UR)
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Geology from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Two years experience in study of stone material by petrology.

CAT-3: One
Name of the post : Senior Scientific Assistant (Physics)
Vacancy: 01 (UR)
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Two year’s experience of analysis of Materials with instruments like scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray Fluorescence spectrometer, etc.

CAT-4: One
Name of the post : Senior Scientific Assistant (Monuments and Wall Paintings)
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- General Central Service (Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted, Non- Ministerial).
Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Geology from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Two year’s experience petrological and petrographical examination and analysis of minerals and stone. OR
1. Master’s Degree in Chemistry of a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Two year’s experience of examination and analysis of plasters, concrete, paints etc.

CAT-5: One
Name of the post : Laboratory Attendant in M/o of Agriculture
Vacancy: 01- UR
Age: Between 18-27 years
Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20,200 with Grade pay of Rs. 1900/-
Essential Qualifications:
1. 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as Subject.
2. Experience of Laboratory work for one year in the Central Government or the State Government or the Union Territory Administrations or Autonomous Organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or Multinational/Reputed private seed companies

CAT-6: One
Name of the post : Horticulture Assistant Gr.I
Vacancy: UR-01
Age: Between 18-28 years
Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- General Central
Service (Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
Essential Qualifications: Master Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture or Master Degree in Horticulture or Floriculture or Pomology. OR
B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture with 3years service in the PB-1 5200-20200/- GP 2400/- and 5 years service in Grade Pay 1900/- in Govt. Organization ro semi Govt. or autonomous bodies.

CAT-7: One
Name of the post : Senior Technical Assistant(Sugar Technology)
Vacancy: 01 (OBC)
Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with G.P. 4200/- (revised)
Age: Not Exceeding 30 years
Essential Qualifications: Degree in Science/Engineering with Associateship in Sugar Technology awarded by National Sugar Institute, Kanpur or
Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

Fee Payable: Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty Only).

Mode Of Selection: Candidates fulfilling, the minimum prescribed qualifications will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualifications, academic records, percentage of marks etc, or through a screening test at the discretion of the Commission. Candidates, thus, selected may be required to undergo a written proficiency test wherever applicable/required or considered necessary by the Commission at its discretion.
