Master of Science in Computer Engineering (MSCE program) :
Program Overview :
The SU-SONA MS in Computer Engineering program is a post graduate engineering degree which is a first of its kind offered in India through the AICTE “twinning” arrangement. The program is approved by the AICTE and offers aspiring engineers an opportunity to advance their profession and career with the benefit of an international educational experience and a MS degree from a reputed US University. Both SONA and Syracuse University are nationally recognized in their respective nations for the quality of education they provide and this “twinning” program will benefit those who wish to gain a truly international education and experience.

Program Structure :
1 The MS CE program (Software track) has a 30 credit requirement with a normally suggested 2 year period of completion for coursework.
2 The program will operate with the first year conducted at SONA and the second year at SU.
3 A minimum average GPA requirement exists to graduate from the program. This is currently 3.0 for courses applied toward the program and 2.8 for all courses completed. The core courses require a further minimum GPA. For more information, please refer to the course requirements.
4 The 30 credits are structured into 10 courses of 3 credits each. Of these 4 courses are mandatory core courses. The other 6 are available as electives.

Minimum Eligibility:
Degree: B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT/EEE/ECE or equivalent engineering degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or 65 % marks in aggregate (from recognized university).
