Online Post Matric Scholarships disbursements through ePass application is one of the important welfare measures of the Government of Karnataka which is aimed at the educational upliftment of Students, initiated by the Department of Backward Class Welfare.
The system links all welfare departments, treasury, databases of Secondary Schools Leaving Certificate (SSLC), Colleges and Banks to disburse scholarships

Group- A :
(i) Degree and Post Graduate level courses including M.Phil., P.hD., and Post Doctoral research in Medicine (Allopathic, Indian and other recognized systems of medicines), Engineering, Technology, Planning, Architecture, Design, Fashion Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary & Allied Sciences, Management, Business Finance I Administration, Computer Science/Applications.
(ii) Post Graduate Diploma courses in various branches of management & medicine.
(iv) M.Phil., Ph.D. and Post Doctoral Programmes (D.Litt., D.Sc., etc.)
(v) L.L.M.
Group-B :
(i) Graduate/Post graduate courses leading to Degree, Diploma, Certificate in areas like Pharmacy (B. Pharm?.,), Nursing (B Nursing), LLB, BFS, other paramedical branches like rehabilitation, diagnostics etc., Mass Communication, Hotel Management & Catering, Travel/Tourism/Hospitality Management, Interior Decoration, Nutrition & Dietetics, Commercial Art, Financial Services (e.g. Banking, Insurance, Taxation etc.) for which entrance qualification is minimum Sr. Secondary (10+2).

Welfare officer telling that they have provided every account numbers to the banks on Monday. And they are telling money is transferred to students accounts through RTGS. If that’s the case why not yet money got credited to the accounts. RTGS takes minimum time to transfer the amount. Within a day money can be transferred through RTGS. But still why money didn’t get credited. What’s going on?

For the student of course wise
1. PG Rs.350 per month
2. PG like LLB, Nursing,MTA Rs.335 per month
3. All UG Rs.210 per month
4. Non degree Rs. 160 per month

There are 3 categories of students under fee concession. They are A,B,C. For B and C category students district officer will write a cheque and send it to the banks. So B & C category students better consult district officer for the queries. And for A category students backward class welfare department commissioner will write a cheque and send it to the bank.

Therefore due to the late results issued for this reason all the candidates from our university being eligible are rejected by Govt. of Karnataka Epass for scholarship. My application is rejected by district officer. The reason they have given is below 5 kilometers. They rejected for food and accommodation. But what about fee concession and post metric. I am totally confused please provide details about this .

Its really too bad to hear the reason of budget problem even though I am eligible to get scholarship also I am not getting due to budget problem. I GOT SCHOLARSHIP UNDER THE POST METRIC SCHEME ,BUT DID NOT GRANT THE FEE CONCESSION. FOR THAT I ASKED THE REASON THEY TOLD DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF BUDGET FUND NOT ABLE TO SANCTION THE FEE CONCESSION. BUT ACTUALLY THEY DID NOT FOLLOWED THE PROCEDURE FOR SANCTION OF SCHOLARSHIP . THEY SANCTIONED SCHOLARSHIP FOR THOSE WHO APPLIED FIRST(FOR STARTING AROUND 150000 APPLICATION) , NOT SANCTIONED ACCORDING TO MERIT AND GROUP WISE. ACCORDING TO PROCEDURE THEY HAVE TO SANCTION SCHOLARSHIP FIRST FOR GROUP A STUDENT(PG STUDENT) THEN REMAINING TO OTHER GROUPS.

The status check page is not accepting my ICSE 10th board hall ticket no, it doesn’t take into consideration the alphabets entered. Hall ticket no consists of alphabets (eg : A/1234/001) but the page is taking it as 1234001,
