Siemens PLM Connection India 2014 – Solid Model Contest :
We invite you to participate in the Solid Model Contest 2014, which will be held alongside Siemens PLM Connection India 2014 – our annual users’ conference. The contest attracts submissions bringing out the capability of design engineers and teams who excel in the use of 3D solid modeling technology as provided by Siemens PLM Software CAD tools. The images will be displayed during the Siemens PLM Connection event and the best, as adjudged by an independent panel of experts, will be recognized through attractive awards.

So rush with your submissions – showcasing your proficiency in using Siemens PLM Software tools in modeling complex parts and assemblies. Get widespread recognition and win attractive prizes!

Why you should participate :
Not only will your image be seen by all at the conference venue, but selected images may also appear in calendar printings worldwide. There are also related activities that may provide more recognition, such as images appearing at trade shows, industry events and business conferences. Additional opportunities include possible participation in the Siemens PLM Software case study program and editorial coverage in industry publications. You could also submit your solid model image to the Siemens PLM Software 2015 Global Image Program, which will be announced shortly.

Image guidelines :
Image must be rendered using Siemens PLM Software products (either NX or Solid Edge)
12″ x 9″ landscape (304.8mm x 228.6mm) with 3,600 x 2,700 pixels (or 300 DPI)
True color (minimum 24 bit)
If there is a logo, the logo should be an intrinsic part of the image, for example, appearing exactly as it does on the physical product. If the image is not an actual product and a logo is used, the logo should appear to be an intrinsic part of the visual. Logos not appearing in said manner may be pulled at the discretion of judges or entrant may be asked to resubmit the image accordingly.
Images must be submitted in JPEG format
Maximum file size is 10 MB
Images must accompany a completed approval form

A completed approval form must accompany image submissions to be considered.

Judging criteria :
Images will be judged on the following criteria:
Overall dramatic impact / aesthetics of image
How much the image represents maximum usage of Siemens PLM Software products
Complexity of image
Image innovation
Degree to which the image incorporates virtual and real elements
Image clarity / high-quality resolution
Selection of the images and awarding of prizes are at the discretion of Siemens PLM Software
All attendees of Siemens PLM Connection India 2014 would be requested for their choice of images as top winners. Aggregated scores so obtained will be used for selecting the winners

Deadline for Image Entry :
All images must be submitted by May 20, 2014.

Prizes :
Winners can walk away with exciting prizes like mobile phones, digital cameras and iPods.

Registration :
To be considered a valid entry, please send the signed Approval Form along with the images in a CD at the below mentioned address.
