Syllabus for Category-I and Category-II Trainees
1) Syllabus for Category-I Trainees (Diploma in Engineering)
SSC standard Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and subjects related to Diploma in relevant disciplines (i.e.) Mechanical, Chemical Engg., Electrical, Electronics, Metallurgy.

2) Syllabus for Category-I Trainees B.Sc. ( Chemistry, Physics and MPC)
B.Sc standard Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

3) Syllabus for Category-II Trainees (Fitter, Turner, Welder, Machinist, Electrical, Crane/Fork Lift Operator, Electronics/Instrumentation, Carpenter, Plumber, Rigger, Lab Technician with ITI, Chemical Plant Operator with ITI)
SSC standard Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and topics related to relevant trade of ITI.

4) Syllabus for Category-II Trainees (CPO/Lab Technician with Intermediate)
SSC and Intermediate standard Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

5) The online examination for Category-II Trainees will be conducted during 1st week of June, 2014 for a duratoin of 11/2 hours and schedule for Online examination/Trade test/Medical Examination/Interview, will be placed on website in due course.

6) Online examination for other posts viz., Category-I Trainees are likely to be conducted during July 2014.

7) The list of shortlisted candidates and the details of the centre allotted will be placed on the website tentatively by 17.05.2014. The shortlisted candidates will be issued call letters online.

8) The model question paper will also be placed on website.

9) The candidates may please practice to attend the examination online.

10) Candidates are requested to view website periodically for further details.

The Written test for selection to the post of Work Assistant is likely to be Online. All the Screened-in candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with operation of Personal Computer.
