Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is a load Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has facilities of Solid Propellant Production, a Rocket Motor Static Tcst Facility and Launch Complexes for variety of rockets, Rocket tracking through sophisticated radar and optical tracking systems and real time data acquisition and processing facilities and other support services including logistics

Age limit: 18—40 for Medical ‘SD’ and 18-35 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ / Medical Officer ‘SC’ as on 30.05.2014.

Selection Process : The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible t0 be called for interview. Based on the academic qualifications and bi0~data, initial screening Will be done to short-list candidates for interview.

Candidates applied to the past of Medical Officer ‘SD’ / Medical officer ‘SC’
a) are expected t0 attend to general duties including shift / emergency duties.
b) registered with Medical Council of State may also apply, subject to production of registration certificate with Medical Council of India at the time of joining, if they selected.
c) Any foreign Post Graduation Degree: should be ratified by Medical Council of India as equivalent to Indian Medical Council recognised MD.
d) should posses’ minimum second class in MBBS/MD/Diploma.

How to Apply :
i) Applications will be received on-line only.

ii) The application for Online registration will be hosted in the SDSC SHAR ebsite between 10.05.2014 (1000 hours) and 30.05.2014 (1700 hours).

iii) Interested & eligible candidates may visit our website at shar.gov.in to register their applications (in—line between 10052014 (1000 hours) and 30.05.2014 (1700 hours)

iv) Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily.

v) After On-line submission, it is mandatory for the applicant to send the printed application form (confirmatory copy of application) duly signed along with the following documents by ORDINARY POST without which online application will not be considered (Speed post/Registered post/Courier will not be accepted.
1. Attested copies of all testimonials in proof of educational qualifications including mark lists, caste, experience (if any) etc.,
2. A ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central / State Government/Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies.
