Online applications in the prescribed format are invited from candidates with qualifications prescribed below for the preparation of a Ranklist for the appointment of Programmers and Assistant Programmers in the Calicut University Administrative Service, in the scale of pay of 22360- 37940 and Rs16980 – 31360 respectively. The selection will be on the basis of competitive test and interview.
1 Name of the post : Programmer
Minimum qualification : M.Sc.Computer Science/M.Sc,Information Technology / MCA/ B.Tech Computer Science/B.Tech. Information Technology/ with 60% marks or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed and two year experience in the relevant field

2 Name of the post : Assistant Programmer
Minimum qualification : MCA/M.Sc Computer Science/B.Tech Computer Science
Experience: 2 years in the relevant field
No. of post : 4
Age :Not more than 35 years
Application fee : Rs.1000/- for the programmers (general category) and Rs.250/- SC& ST category and Rs.750/- for the Asst. Programmers and Rs.200/- for SC & ST Candidates.The separate applications are required for those who wish to apply for both posts.
The application fee shall be remitted through SBT Internet banking, SBT e-challan using instant payment system link in the University website
How to Apply:
i) The prescribed application form will be available in the Official Website of the University with effect from 26.04.2014
ii) print copy of the applications accompanied by attested copy to prove age, qualifications, experience and eligibility for concession in application fee , community certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates along with the chalan receipt should reach the
