Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) is a non-affiliating; teaching cum research University engaged in education, research, product innovation and extension work in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Management and is committed to foster excellence. The University invites applications from the eligible candidates to fill up the following posts as Assistant Professor on contractual basis under various disciplines of this University. The proposed appointment will be made purely on contractual basis for a period of 11 months or till such time the posts are filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier:

Qualifications: FOR ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES
Essential Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st Class or equivalent either in B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech from a recognised University
Additional desirable requirements : Ph.D in relevant discipline and/or published research papers in journals of high repute is desirable

Qualifications: FOR APPLIED SCIENCES
Essential Qualification :
i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s degree in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Should have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
iii. Holders of Ph.D. degree, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
Additional desirable requirements : Ph.D in relevant discipline and/or published research papers in journals of high repute is desirable
