ADMISSION NOTICE FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2014-15 :
It is for the information of all concerned that the admissions to B. Tech. (Direct Entry/Lateral Entry), M.C.A., M.B.A., M.Tech. & M.Pharm. in various programmes in the affiliating institutions of Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur for the academic session 2014-2015 will be made on the basis of criteria of admission as mentioned against each for which the eligible desirous candidate has to apply ONLINE through the website of this University i.e. himtu.ac.in subject to fulfillment of minimum eligibility prescribed in the Prospectus-Cum-Information Brochure-2014.

2 Programme : B.Tech. (2nd Year) Under Lateral Entry Scheme

How to Apply :
1 No separate Entrance Examination for admissions to above programmes will be conducted by the H.P. Technical University.

2 Admissions to above programmes will be made strictly on the basis of merit of rank/marks obtained by the candidates in the National Level Entrance Examination/State Level Common Entrance Examination.

3 Candidates are advised to go through the Prospectus-Cum-Information Brochure and related instructions available at the website of this university i.e. himtu.ac.in before filling up the ONLINE application form.

4 No separate printed Prospectus-Cum-Information Brochure is being sold from anywhere for the admission to the above courses by H.P. Technical University.

5 Appropriate application fee need to be paid by the candidates as instructed on the online application form.

6 Counselling schedule will be made available on the official website of this University in due course of time and it will be the responsibility of candidates to check the counselling schedule and appear for admission in the Counselling Hall on scheduled date and time.
