1 ITEM No. I: Department of Ayurveda, H.P.
Name of the post: – Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Class-I (Gazetted) (On Contract basis).
No. of posts: 101 posts
Contractual emoluments: ` 15,300/- per month.
Age: 45 years and below.
Essential Qualification:
(i) Recognized degree in Ayurveda not less than five years duration from a recognized Institution recognized by the Central/ State Government / CCIM.
(ii) Compulsory Rotatory Internship wherever required by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs / manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Item No. II: Department of Medical Education (Dental) (HPGDC, Shimla)
Name of the post: Professor (Community Dentistry) Class-I (Gazetted)

Age: 45 years and below.
Essential Qualification: A recognized BDS Degree from the Indian University constituted under the Statue or an equivalent qualification and having recognized post graduation degree or its equivalent in the concerned speciality and possess at least five y ars teaching experience as Reader/ Assistant Professor (Dentistry) in a Dental College recognized by Dental Council of India in the concerned speciality after doing post graduation in the concerned speciality.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Name of the post:- Deputy Advocate General, Class-I (Gazetted)

Age: Between 30 & 45 years.
Essential Qualification:
(i) Professional degree in Law from a recognized University in India or its equivalent.
(ii) 10 years practice as an Advocate out of which 03 years practice should be in High Court.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age: Should be below the age of 57 years serving personnel expected to be released from Army/ Navy/ Air Force within one year are also eligible.
Essential Qualification:
(i) Should be a retired / released Ex-Indian Commissioned officer not below the rank of Brigadier or equivalent status of the Indian Navy / Air Force failing which a retired / released Col. from the Army or equivalent rank of the Indian Navy/ Air Force.
(ii) The Director General Resettlement or a Member thereof to be nominated by him is to be one of the members of the Committee for selection of Director of Sainik Welfare.

Provided that preference will be given to the candidates possessing at least 3 years’ experience in Urban/City/ Town/Regional Planning’s work under any authority constituted under Town & Country Planning Laws or in the Town & Country Planning Department after acquiring the above qualification.

Essential Qualification:
(i) Should possess a degree of B.V. Sc. and AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) from a recognized University as laid down under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No.52 of 1984).
(ii) Should be registered with the State Veterinary Council under the Indian Veterinary Act, 1984 (Act No.52 of 1984).
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for working in peculiar conditions of the Pradesh.
