To apply for a new connection, please fill in the basic details in the form to generate a New Connection Request notification number.

After you fill the form and submit it, you will receive a call from our Sampark Kendra within 48 Hrs.
The Sampark Kendra will provide you the details of the documents to be submitted and information regarding nearest location for submission of documents.

1. Passport size Photograph of applicant
2. Fire Fighting / Lift Safety Certificate (wherever applicable)
3. Address / Identity Proof (Any one of the following) :
** Electoral Identity Card
** Passport
** Driving License
** Ration Card
** Aadhar Card
** PAN Card
** Photo Identity Card issued by any Govt. Agency
4. Proof of Ownership/ Occupancy (Any one of the following) :
** GPA (General Power of Attorney)
** Possession Letter
** Rent Receipt with Proof of Ownership of Landlord
** Lease Agreement
5. No Objection Letter of Landlord along with proof of Ownership of Landlord
6. Other Documents, applicable for selected customer category :
(a) Industrial :
** Valid Industrial License of applied address / Lal Dora Certificate in case of Rural Areas
(b) Agricultural Customers :
** Certificate of Residence from Block Development Officer
** No Objection Certificate from Development Commissioner / Block Development Officer for tube wells
(c) Non domestic for Khokhas and Temporary structure :
** Tehbazari receipt Number
** No objection Certificate for Khokha /Temporary structure from Municipal Corporation of Delhi / Delhi Development Authority / Land Owning Agency

Document Submission Centers :
Application and Document Submission centers for new connection, name, load, category & address change are now functioning at 11 locations in TPDDL’s distribution area.
Customers can visit the mentioned location as per their convenience irrespective of the applied premise location, for example a customer wanting a new connection in Rohini can submit at any of the 11 locations as per their convenience.
Timings-Monday to Friday, 9 :30 AM to 2:00 PM
Alternatively, you can call us on our 24Hr Sampark Kendra 66404040, for initiating the new connection process
Customers have to mandatorily visit any of the Document Submission Centers along with the necessary documents to initiate the new connection process.
New Connection Request Notification will be cancelled if the Documents are not submitted within 3 working days
Important information while applying for new connection :
Ensure complete wiring with proper load distribution on all phases and a safe place for meter installation with minimum height of 2 ft. from the ground.
For load requirement 5 KW and above, proper earthing to be available :
For 1 phase – MCB/ELCB (>= 5KW)
For 3 phase – 4 Pole (MCCB & ELCB) or RCCB
