Vote With Photo Identity Documents :
As per the directions issued by the Election Commission of India vide Order No.3/4/ID/2014/SDR-Vol.1 dated 02/04/2014, it is brought to the notice of the public in General, the Contesting Candidates of 1- Daman & Diu Parliamentary Constituency and Political Parties of Daman and Diu in particular that all electors who have been issued Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) shall have to produce these cards for identification at the polling station for voting at the General Election to the House of People-2014. Those Electors who are not able to produce the Electoral Photo Identity Card shall produce one of the alternative photo identity documents prescribed by the Commission for establishing their identity at the time of voting, which are as under

Vote With :
(i) Passport
(ii) Driving License
(iii) Service Identity Cards with photograph issued to employees by Central/State Govt Public Sector Undertakings/Public Limited Companies,
(iv) Passbooks with photographs issued by Bank/Post Office,
(v) PAN Card,
(vi) Aadhar Card,
(vii) Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR,
(viii) MNREGA Job Card,
(ix) Health Insurance Smart Cards issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labour,
(x) Pension documents with photographs, and
(xi) Authenticated Photo Voter Slip issued by the election machinery.

2 : If an elector produces an EPIC, which has been issued by the E.R.O. of another Assembly Constituency, such EPICs shall also be accepted for identification provided the name of that electors finds place in the electoral roll pertaining to the polling station where the elector has turned up for voting. If it is not possible to establish the identity of the elector on account on mismatch of photograph, etc. the elector shall have to produce one of the alternative photo documents mentioned above.

3 :Overseas electors who are registered in the electoral rolls under Section 20A of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, based on the particulars in their Passport, shall be identified on the basis of their original passport only (and no other identity document) in the polling station.
