ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION :-
The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the + 2 level of senior secondary education or equivalent, with English as a compulsory subject. Admission will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificate/document to be produced by the candidates., Decision of FCI-Ajmer regarding the eligibility shall be final & binding. Even after admission to the Institute, if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of supplying false information or false testimonials or having suppressed any material information, his/her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE :
Admission and allotment of departments is done strictly according to the merit drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2). The candidates who are finally selected as per the prescribed procedure will be admitted on payment of fees immediately on the declaration of selection list failing which their selection will stand cancelled. Admission will be on first come first serve basis.
How To Apply :
Information Brochure and Application Form for admission is available on payment of Rs. 200/- at Administration Office of FCI-Ajmer. The Form can also be obtained by Speed-Post from the Institute on payment of Rs. 250/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal, Food Craft Institute – Aimer payable at Aimer, or it can be downloaded from this website. The candidates will have to appear for admission on the Wednesday, 10th of July 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in the Institute.
FEE STRUCTURE:
The Annual Course Fees of various courses are follow:
Diploma in Food Production Course Rs. 44,000/- (35 Seats)
Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Rs. 40,000/- (35 Seats)
Diploma in Front Office Rs. 40,000/- (35 Seats)
Diploma in House Keeping Rs. 40,000/- (35 Seats)
Craftsmanship Course Rs. 40,000/- (35 Seats)
Note: Rs. 500/- refundable caution deposit
The Annual Fees for Boys hostel in Rs.7,000/- (Rs500/- refundable caution deposite).
The Monthly Mess charges for is Rs. 1600/- per month.
Fees are to be paid by Demand draft only, in favour of Principal, Food Craft Institute, Ajmer. Students who bring fees in cash will be required to make the Demand draft on the spot, as cash fees is not accepted by the Institute. The applicants are advised to write their name and address on the reverse of the bank draft. Incomplete applications forms, and application received after the due date will not be accepted.
Note: Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. No request for change of department will be entertained, once the fees is paid. Candidate are advised to fully satisfy themselves about the Course/Choice of department before paying the fees. No request will be enterained thereafter.
Read these instructions carefully before filling the application form :
1. Complete the application form in all respect. Incomplete forms will not he considered for admission. Please note down the application Form number for future reference.
2. Fold the form without damage to photograph. Paste only recent colour photograph. Do not staple it.
3. Enclose attested Photo-copies of (1) proof of age (2) +2 pass mark sheet (3) SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicap Certificate (4) Medical certificate (5) Character certificate (6) one stamped self address envelop. (Rs. 5/- stamp affixed}
4. Please note that your name, your parent’s/guardians name and your date of birth should be exactly same as in your matriculation certificate.
5. Deposit/Speed Post the envelop to the following Address:

6. All Fees are to he paid at the time of admission in the form of DD only, in favour of Principal, Food Craft Institute, Ajmer, payable at Ajmer.

** Date of admission to diploma courses 10.07.14
** Upper age limit 25yrs for gen & obc candidated,& 30 yrs for SC,ST,Girls.
** Last date for submission of duly filled application forms is 10/07/2014
** Admission for candidates will be on 10/07/2014 from 8.30 a.m. onward
** Admission of wait-listed candidates will be on 11/07/2014 on first come first serve basis. (from 8.30 a.m. onward)
ADMISSION FORM:
Candidates should submit duly filled application form attached with this prospectus or download from this website along with following attested certificates / documents. At the time of admission certificates must be produced in original failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission.
