PAT-2014 :
POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST NOTICE FOR ADMISSION TO THREE YEARS DIPLOMA COURSES RUNNING IN THE STATE POLYTECHNIC FOR THE ADMISSION SESSION 2014.

HP. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala is going to conduct Polytechnic Admission Test-2014 for admission to various diploma courses running in State Polytechnics (Government & Private) on 18.05.2014 (Sunday) from 1O.00A.Mv to 1AOOPM. The Non-Himachali lndian Nationals candidates of other states can also compete with Himachali general category candidates for 15% seats of the total seats, it is mandatory for departmental candidates to appear in this test.

Eligibility :
The candidate appearing for the PAT-2014 must have passed 10th standard with 35% marks at the qualifying examination from a recognized Board/ University or its equivaient.
A candidates who has appeared in Matriculation examination in 2014, shall be allowed to appear in the test provisionally and his eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling by the Central Admission Selection Committee.

The prospectus alongwith necessary enclosures can be obtained between 04.04.2014 to 19.04.2014 from the following designated sale centres against cash payment of for General category candidates and Rs.400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The prospectus alongwith necessary enclosures can also be obtained from the office of the Secretary, Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala at Dari~ 176057 on cash payment of Rs. 650/- for General Category and Rs‘ 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates from 04.04.2014 to 26.04.2014.

Candidates can also obtain the prospectus through Registered post by sending Bank Draft of Rs. 700/- (General Category) and Rs. 450/- (SC/ST/OBC) drawn in favour of Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, payable at Dharamshala, requesting for the brochure by indicating their complete postal address on receipt of the Bank Draft. the prospectus alongwith the enclosures, will be sent by post. The postal charges will be borne by the Board Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draftv

Note:-
1.The candidates are advised not to attach any certificate (Original/Photocopy) with the application form of PAT. No document or any other enclosure shall be pined or stapled by the candidate with the application form. This may render the form un- scanable,

2. No separate advertisement or communication shall be made with the candidate for counseling. The candidates shall present themselves on the scheduled date of counseling given in prospectus before the Admission Selection Committee.

3. Separate advertisement will be published in the newspapers for admission of 02 years Pharmacy Diploma course and Lateral Entry Scheme in Polytechnics,

4. The PAT Application forms may be sent in the envelope provided with the application form by registered post.
