LPU-TFA (Test for Financial Aid) 2014:
In order to extend an opportunity to applicants who could not perform well in the qualifying examination or in National / State Level entrance tests owing to various personal, academic or procedure specific reasons and are therefore not able to derive the benefit of scholarship scheme of the University, LPU as its endeavor towards the social responsibility embraces upon LPUTFA-2014 which will adjudge the ability of the said applicants and will enable them to avail the financial aid as a support to continue their education in the best milieu for their better future.

Test Codes of the Test :
Test Codes for different programmes are as follows :
Test Code A For Programmes (After 10th)
Test Code B For B.Tech Programmes [Equivalent to LPUNEST-2014( For B.Tech)]
Test Code C For Programmes after 10+2 other than Engineering Programmes [Equivalent to LPUNEST-2014( for UG Honors)]
Test Code D For Under-Graduate Engineering (Lateral Entry) Programmes [Equivalent to LPUNEST-2014{ for B.Tech(LE)}]
Test Code E For Post Graduate Science Programmes
Test Code F For Post Graduate Pharmacy Programmes [Equivalent to LPUNEST-2014(for M.Pharma)]
Test Code G For all M.Tech Programmes [Equivalent to LPUNEST-2014(for M.Tech)]
Test Code H For Post Graduate Education and Physical Education Programmes
Test Code J For MBA, MCA all other Programmes [Equivalent to LPUNEST-2014( For MBA)]

WHO CAN APPLY FOR LPUTFA-2014 :
All the applicants who have taken admission or provisionally registered for admission at LPU and have not availed any scholarship scheme offered by the University may apply for LPUTFA-2014.

However applicants taking admission on the basis of LPUNEST-2014 will not be required to appear for TFA separately as the score of equivalent Eligibility Test (First Chance) will be considered for deciding financial aid.

How to Apply :
Based on the Programme in which admission has been taken, the applicant will opt for appropriate TFA Test Code (as mentioned under ‘Test Codes’ ) on the ‘Application Form for LPUTFA -2014’ .
The form filled in all respects should be submitted :
either in person to the Admission Office at the University Campus or at the designated camp offices of the University or at such other places as specified by the University;
OR
by registered post/courier at the University Campus only.
The University will not be responsible for any loss or postal delay and no correspondence/ inquiry will be entertained in this regard.

Last Date for the receipt of application form for LPUTFA-2014
Last date for the receipt of Application Form for LPUTFA-2014 will be 3 days before the date of test (e.g. if the applicants wants to take test on 27th May, he/she should apply on 24th May, 2014). However to avoid last moment rush, you are advised to submit the form at the earliest
Time Slot for Test Duration of the test will be 1.30 hrs. Any one slot between 9.00 am to 7.30 pm will be allotted by the University

#Applicable only for students taking admission through JEE (Main) counselling conducted by CSAB.

**Note:
(a) Schedule/ Date(s) of Test(s) may be changed by the University, as and if required.
(b) Applicant can select one of the schedule and one date within that schedule for appearing in LPUTFA-2014.
(c) Applicant has to choose venue of the Test/ Test City and has to fill Test City Code in the Application Form for LPUTFA-2014.
(d) Applicant will be allowed to appear for LPUTFA-2014 only once.

General Instructions for the Applicant :
Please paste passport size photograph (if not printed) on the Hall Ticket generated at the space provided.
Each applicant is required to carry one Original ID proof (Last qualification certificate, Driving license, Voter’s ID card, Ration card, Passport).
Applicants will have to make their own travel and boarding arrangement for appearing in the test.

Valid Score Required for LPU-TFA 2014 :
Financial Aid to the applicants will be awarded on the basis of relative performance of all the applicants appearing in the test. For every schedule merit list will be prepared Test Code-wise and top 1/4th applicants (subject to cut-off marks as decided by the university) for every Test Code of each schedule will be eligible for financial aid.

For the purpose of selecting students for financial aid, in addition to the TFA conducted on a particular schedule, all the applicants who have appeared in corresponding eligibility test (1st chance only) till the last date of respective TFA schedule will also be considered.

Separate merit list will be prepared for those applicants who have appeared for eligibility test in offline (pen and paper ) mode.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING APPLICATION FORM :
Item-1- Registration Number
Fill registration number of the applicant provided at the time of taking admission/ provisional admission in the university.
Item–2– Programme Name
Fill the name of the programme in which applicant has taken the admission/ provisional admission.
Fill the name of the programme in which applicant has taken the admission/ provisional admission.
Write the contact details of the applicant in capital letters. Indicate your phone no. with the correct STD code, Mobile Number& email ID.
Item–4–Test City
Refer to the codes for Test Cities, where you want to appear for exam in ANNEXURE-A and write the appropriate code in the space provided. Write the name of the city as well in the text area provided.
Item – 5—TFA Test Code
Refer to LPUTFA-2014 guidelines to find the test code and fill in the text area provided.
Item – 6– Choice of Exam Date
Five options of Choice of Exam Date are to be given here. Write Day, Month and Year as per English calendar. Dates mentioned here will be one of the dates provided in the schedule given in the LPUTFA-2014 guidelines. Considering postal delays/ holidays etc. the dates mentioned should be atleast 7 days later than the current date i.e. date of posting the application.
Item – 7– Declaration
The applicant must sign the declaration and fill up the place and date. Applications without signatures will be treated as incomplete and rejected.
Photograph
Affix one recent (taken not later than a month) good quality color photograph with light color background in the space provided for this purpose.
