Vodafone Superfan :
Be a Vodafone data user & stand a chance to win VODAFONE SUPERFAN

Background :
** Vodafone is the Official Partner for the PEPSI IPL 2014 (“Series”) which starts on 16th April 2014 and is valid till 1st June 2014 (hereinafter “Period”) during which period based on participation by the Eligible Subscriber/s (as defined hereinafter), the selection of the Vodafone Superfan shall be done in accordance as stated herein (hereinafter “Promotional Offer”).
** For IPL 2014 the matches are being conducted in UAE & India. During this Promotional Offer, there are 20 matches being conducted in UAE and 40 matches being conducted in India across venues in the respective countries for which one eligible subscriber and one individual nominated by the subscriber in each shall be selected as the Winner and the Vodafone Superfan respectively.
** The number of matches and venues can be changed as per BCCI and/or Indian government.
** The selection of the Vodafone Superfan shall be based on computer generated random selection process to be conducted under the supervision of an independent auditor from the valid participants will select Vodafone Eligible Subscriber/s, as per terms & Conditions below.

Reward& Benefit Per Match :
** On the valid participation by the Eligible Subscriber/s the “Winner” (hereinafter referred to as “Nominator”) shall be randomly selected through computer generated process under the supervision of an independent auditor. As per the offer the Nominator nominates one individual for the contest to become the Vodafone Superfan (hereinafter referred to as “SUPERFAN”).
** Such selected Nominator/s and the nominated SUPERFAN/s shall get an exclusive chance as per terms and condition during the Promotional Offer : – (i) a return air-ticket each, in case the residential address of the Eligible Subscriber and the match location are in a different countries/states, and/or (ii) one match ticket each to attend the designated Series match.
** Only SUPERFAN shall receive an autographed ball from the winning captain of the designated Series match at the match presentation ceremony and appear on TV.

Organisers :
The Promotional Offer is organized jointly by Vodafone India Limited and its subsidiaries & Group companies , (collectively as “Vodafone” or “Organizers”) in their respective telecom service areas ( as listed herein below***) for valid prepaid and/or postpaid Vodafone data user subscribers (hereinafter referred to as “Subscribers”) and subject to the terms and conditions of the Promotion Offer stated herein.

Mode Of Participation :
1. All valid Vodafone Subscribers across India who have an active data pack on their Vodafone numbers shall be the “Eligible Subscribers” to participate for the contest.
2. The subscription to Vodafone data pack should be active on or during 1st April 2014 to 1st June, 2014, i.e. Period on the Vodafone number used to participate.
3. Eligible Subscriber can be any individual in the age group 18 to 45 years as on 1st April 2014. The Eligible Subscriber must be an Indian citizen residing in India.
4. If, in any State and/or territory or part thereof, the running of this Promotional Offer is prohibited as per local rules or laws, the Subscribers from such State and/or territory or part thereof shall not be eligible to participate in the Promotional Offer. No further notice shall be given by the Organizers, in this regard.
5. The Eligible Subscriber/s can take part in the Promotional Offer to become a “Participant” by sending an SMS to nominate one individual and/or by nominating one individual via Facebook, Twitter and/or Microsite. As under :
– For sending the SMS, the Eligible Subscriber/s must SMS “FAN (INDIVIDUAL NAME) (INDIVIDUAL NUMBER)” to 111 toll free from their existing Vodafone mobile connection.
– Eligible Subscriber/s can also nominate an individual to become SUPERFAN through their Facebook profiles, Twitter accounts and/or the Microsite set up by the Organizers (www.vodafone.in/Superfan)
6. The name of the selected Nominator/s and respective SUPERFAN/s can be published on the website www.vodafone.in/Superfan
7. Number of Winner/s and SUPERFAN/s : Up to a maximum of 1 Winner and 1 Superfan (per match depending on match being held) will be selected during the Period based on the Schedule for selection of SUPERFAN/s as stated hereinafter.
8. There will be one Winner and one SUPERFAN for every match. No single Eligible Subscriber can win this Promotional Offer twice. The Rewards & Benefits mentioned herein are neither encashable nor transferrable and only original Vodafone Subscriber whose number is mentioned as rightful owner will be eligible for the Rewards & Benefits.

Benefits And Rewards Process :
1. The selected Nominator/s will receive a congratulatory call on their Vodafone number (the number provided at the time of entry for the Promotional Offer) from the Organizer/s agent confirming the participation and details of the individual nominated by him/her
2. The Organizer/s agent will then give a congratulatory call to the SUPERFAN nominated by the Winner and confirm participation for the Promotional Offer.
3. The Organizer/s agent will give details of the designated match, venue, and date for which the Eligible Subscriber has been selected as the Winner and confirm the details of the SUPERFAN nominated by him/her and where their personal presence shall be required for claiming the Rewards & Benefits as stated in Point B.
4. The Nominator and SUPERFAN has to give an on the spot acceptance of the selection during the congratulatory call and confirm his/her appearance on the day of the match at the venue where the match shall be played.
5. The Organizer/s agent shall on receipt of acceptance of selection by the selected Winner and the respective SUPERFAN during the congratulatory call takes the tee shirt size, email ID, address and identity proof details of the Winner and SUPERFAN.
6. In case the Winner/s and/or SUPERFAN/s are not residing in the state where the designated match is held then he/she will also get a call from the travel associate and would be sent an E-ticket and a detailed travel itinerary with the stay details as per the choice of Organiser/s.
7. For matches in UAE – The roundtrip airfare as provided by the Organizer/s from top 8 metros of India to the city where the match is being played in UAE and 2 nights hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) at a hotel identified by the Organizer/s.
8. All departure taxes, insurance, fees and surcharges will be advised by the travel partner and will be paid by the Organizer/s to the travel partner prior to departure.
9. If a Winner and/or the SUPERFAN miss any of the flights as scheduled, Organizer/s cannot be held responsible and is/are not obligated to make alternate arrangements for any of the passengers. Winner and the SUPERFAN are responsible for checking airline schedule directly for any changes in time or date etc. Organizer/s and/or their agents and/or travel partners will not be responsible for any changes in schedule of travel by the airline on which the passengers are supposed to travel.
10. Hotel accommodation will include breakfast (as served by the hotel) and one meal only per day. Any other expense or consumption over and above this will have to be borne by the Winner and/or SUPERFAN.
11. No re-scheduling cost of hotel and travel will be borne by the Organizer/s.
12. Unless otherwise stated, insurance is not provided as part of the Benefits and Rewards stated. It will be each Winner’s and their travelling SUPERFAN’s responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken. All insurance, spending money and other expenses, unless otherwise stated, are costs for the Winner and SUPERFAN are not provided as part of Benefits and Rewards.
13. The Winner and the SUPERFAN must have and maintain valid passports for a period of 6 months from the date of being contacted by the Organizer/s. These passports, and their holders, must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable country or countries. Passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to prize winners and/or their travelling companions. The Organizer/s shall not be responsible for ensuring the ability to travel to UAE nor for any additional costs incurred should you be refused entry.
14. For any Winners and SUPERFAN/s a Non Objection Certificate will be required from the husband / guardian / parents of the Winner and SUPERFAN.
15. Vodafone representative shall deliver a kit containing the SUPERFAN gear tee shirt and the match ticket to the SUPERFAN prior to their viewing the designated match. The SUPERFANs must wear such match gear before he/she comes to the stadium or venue of the match.
16. Few minutes before the designated match is about to gets over, only the SUPERFAN is escorted to the match presentation ceremony area by the local International Management Group representative and the official Organizers of the designated IPL match to presentation ceremony.
17. The gratification takes place with a photo op. SUPERFANs strap plays on TV. By participating to the Promotional Offer the Eligible Subscriber shall confirm their acceptance of all the above process.
18. Vodafone or its subsidiaries or holding entities (“Vodafone Group”) are not liable or responsible for any action or decision taken by Participant / Winner / SUPERFAN or anyone acting on their behalf or under anyone’s employment or under contract with Participant/Winner/SUPERFAN. Vodafone shall not be under any obligation to Participant and Participant shall have no obligation or rights in relation to the Promotional Offer and shall have no claims whatsoever against the Vodafone relating to the selection process or the running of the Promotional Offer.
19. If at any time, any information provided by any Eligible Subscriber is found to be incorrect in any manner, then Vodafone reserves the right to disqualify such the Eligible Subscriber from the Promotional Offer, without limiting the rights of Vodafone to take appropriate legal action.
20. Disqualification of entries is at the sole discretion of Vodafone, on a case by case basis.

Vodafone shall not be responsible for :
a. any delivery, failures relating to the sending or receiving SMS;
b. any SPAM generated messages as result of Participant accessing the Website;
c. Organizer/s not receiving or rejecting an SMS;
d. any lost, late or misdirected computer transmission or network, electronic failures of any kind or any failure to receive entries owing to transmission failures or due to any technical reasons and
e. Other conditions/situations or failures beyond its control.

Timelines :
1. Organizer/s agent will try to contact the Winner and SUPERFAN on best effort basis on the contact number from which the SMS is received or the contact number provided while entering the Promotional Offer.
2. Calls will be made to the selected Winner and SUPERFAN from 10 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m. during the period 3rd April, 2014 to 30th May, 2014 only
3. Winner and SUPERFAN has to provide verbal confirmation on telephone for acceptance of the Benefits and Rewards stated herein and whether he/she will be able to travel to the venue decided. If the selected Winner and/or SUPERFAN decline to accept the Benefits and Rewards, then the Eligible Subscriber will not qualify for the current and any subsequent draw of Winners for remaining matches.
4. A confirmation SMS and/or e-mail will be sent to the selected Winner and his/her nominated SUPERFAN and nominee confirming their acceptance.

Detailed Terms and Conditions :
1. Please read these terms and conditions (including the above instructions which shall be considered to be integral part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotional Offer) carefully before registering / participating in the Promotional Offer. By proceeding with registration for, and/or participating in the Promotional Offer, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions stated herein. The Promotional Offer is open from 1rd April 2014 to 1st June 2014 (both days inclusive). The draw is held on a per week basis (and not per match). Details of the draw schedule per week are already a part of the Terms and Conditions.
2. All valid Vodafone Subscribers* (except the Subscribers from Vodafone India’s Jammu & Kashmir Telecom Service Areas) shall be entitled to participate in the Promotional Offer. If, in any State and/or territory or part thereof, the running of this Promotional Offer is prohibited, the Subscribers from such State and/or territory or part thereof shall not be eligible to participate in the Promotional Offer. No further notice shall be given by the Organizers, in this regard.
3. There will be upto a maximum total number of 60 Winners and 60 respective nominated SUPERFAN/s and the selection shall be subject to these terms and conditions and further there shall be no other Rewards/Benefits for participation.
4. The Winner/s and/or SUPERFANs/s may be announced through Vodafone India’s website ‘www.vodafone.in’ and/or through any other manner, which shall be available for a limited period only, as Organizers may deem appropriate.
5. The selection of the Winners will be by way of a random computer-generated draw amongst correctly answered entries, and decision of the Agency & independent Auditors, appointed by the Organizers in this regard, and the decision of the independent Auditor shall be final and binding on the Subscribers and participants of the Promotional Offer. No dispute regarding the selection of the Winner and/or SUPERFAN or the Promotional Offer of whatsoever nature, in this respect shall be entertained by the Organizers.
6. On announcement of the Winners and SUPERFANs, they will be required to confirm his/her acceptance of the Rewards & Benefits immediately on receiving information about the same to the designated number and / or person. The Organizers reserve the right to replace the Winner/s in case of non-receipt of the said confirmation on the spot or in case of disqualification on any of the terms stated herein. If the Winner/s and/or SUPERFAN/s post confirmation doesn’t turn up at the match venue or misses their flight to the match city, the organizers reserve the right to replace the Winner/s and/or SUPERFAN/s with some other Eligible Subscriber participant. Participant understands and agrees that his/her Vodafone mobile number shall be available all the times during the Promotional Offer Period and in case the participants / Winners / SUPERFANs are non-contactable for any reason whatsoever, he/she shall be solely responsible.
7. The Eligible Subscriber can be considered as disqualified for the Promotional Offer’s Rewards & Benefits , in case he/she fails to clear all outstanding dues payable to Vodafone and / or is not a Valid*/Active** Vodafone Subscriber on the date of match for which he/she has been selected as Winner.
8. Vodafone shall reserve the right to choose a replacement in case of a no-show by a chosen Winner /s and/or SUPERFAN/s.
9. The Rewards /Benefits will be given only to the Winners and SUPERFANs in whose name the Vodafone mobile phone number is registered and it is the Winner’s and the SUPERFAN’s responsibility to produce such document and/or credentials to prove his/her identity. It is the responsibility of the Winners and SUPERFANs to produce such identity proof and/or credentials at his/her own cost and the same is subject to cross verification by Vodafone or their designated agents with the documentation received from the Eligible Subscriber at the time of providing the connection.
10. The Winner/s and SUPERFAN/s of the Promotional Offer shall only be given the Rewards & Benefits mentioned hereinabove. The Reward / Benefit is non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-assignable in the name of any other person and it shall be subject to Income tax, gift tax or any other statutory levies / tax (including withholding taxes) as may be applicable and the Winners and SUPERFANs of the respective Rewards & Benefits shall be responsible and liable to pay such taxes, if any.
