We are pleased to announce aKademy – GRE Scholarship Test 2014

As part of our endeavor to reach out to meritorious students, we are introducing two scholarships this year. The scholarship includes Free GRE Coaching at aKademy and also Free GRE Test Booking. The scholarships will be awarded based on aKademy – GRE Scholarship Test 2014.

The registration is free of cost.

The scholarships are named after two youngsters who passed away recently in very unfortunate accidents. At aKademy we would like to initiate this scholarship in the memory of these two youngsters who demised accidentally.

1. Komatireddy Prateek Reddy Scholarship: This scholarship is named after Komatireddy Prateek Reddy, son of sitting Congress MLA from Nalgonda, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy.

2. Chandra Shekhar Gudipally Scholarship: This scholarship is named after Chandra Shekhar Gudipally, alumnus of SRTIST, Nalgonda and aKademy.

Scholarship Details :
1. Free GRE Coaching: At aKademy, we offer a 10 Week extensive course (Daily 1:30 Hours) and 5 Weeks crash course (Daily 3:00 Hours). The student has an option to choose any one of them. The coaching should be availed within 3 months of announcement of the scholarship.

2. Free GRE Test Booking: Passport is compulsory for writing GRE, therefore, the student is expected to apply for the passport as early as possible. The student should avail this opportunity within 3 months after completion of GRE Coaching at aKademy.

Eligibility :
Only B.Tech/B.Pharm third year (Year of Graduation: 2015) and B.Tech/B.Pharm final year (Year of Graduation: 2014) students of SRTIST, Nalgonda; SRTIPS, Nalgonda; REC, Nalgonda; and NITS, Nalgonda are eligible for the scholarship test.

Test Format :
1. Written Test: A written test will be organized to evaluate the student’s aptitude in Quantitative & Verbal Reasoning. Individual cut-offs will be there for both components. Of students clearing the individual cut-offs, overall scores are considered for evaluation. Top 6 students as per the overall scores will be selected for the next round. The written test will be objective in nature and the duration of the test will be no more than one hour.

2. Personality Test: The objective of the interview is to understand the seriousness of the student to pursue higher education abroad and his/her motivation for doing the same. The student’s life goals will also be considered for evaluation. The best two students according to the panel will be awarded scholarships.

1. Students satisfying the eligibility criteria can enroll for the scholarship test by clicking the link below and signing up for the test.

2. The registration deadline is Apr 12th, 2014 (Saturday) 11:59 PM.

3. Written Test Date, Time and Venue will be announced shortly on this page. Also, all the students registering for the test will be intimated separately through email and SMS.

Terms & Conditions :
1. The intention of the scholarships is to appreciate & encourage merit, therefore only merit will be considered while awarding scholarships.

2. However, the scores obtained in the written test and the interview panel’s evaluation will not be disclosed to anyone under any circumstances.

3. The students have to show the proof of satisfying the eligibility criteria (Student ID issued by the College) both during the written test & personality test.

4. aKademy reserves the right of awarding and canceling the scholarships at any time, if the student(s) is/are found to breach any requirements of the scholarship.

5. aKademy will remain the final authority in case of any disputes arising with regard to the scholarship.
